Poultry cage
A cage and corresponding method for loading, transporting, and unloading poultry utilize a substantially vertical track attached to a leg or a sidewall to provide stability for a door of the cage throughout the door's entire range of motion. The cage is stackable and together with like cages can form an assembly of cages. The assembled stack of cages allows for several cages to share common components. Thus, the weight of the load during transport is reduced and more livestock can be transported. Shared components can include a roof and even a latching mechanism which prevents the door of each cage from coming open during transport.
Lighting system for attachment to tubular structure
A light fixture a baseplate having a pair of tabs extending from its opposing edges. A printed circuit board (PCB) attached to the baseplate has an aperture aligned with an aperture in the baseplate. An array of light emitting diodes (LEDs) is disposed on the PCB. A mounting bracket attached to the baseplate includes a strap and a pair of clips disposed at its opposite ends. Each clip engages one of the tabs to secure the mounting bracket to the baseplate. A pair of clamp arms extend from the strap, each including an arcuate central portion. An aperture passes through the strap that is aligned with the baseplate aperture. A power cable passes through the strap aperture, the baseplate aperture, and the PCB aperture. A protective cover protects the baseplate and the PCB, and provides for transmission of light from the LEDs.

Methods for controlling sex of oviparous embryos using light sources
The sex of embryos in eggs is influenced or controlled through the application of light having selected wavelengths in order to promote the development of embryos of a selected sex. An incubating device is provided having an interior cavity that can be sealed from an outside, and having a plurality of lighting elements in the interior cavity. Eggs are disposed in the interior cavity, and pre-determined environmental conditions are applied to the interior cavity to promote hatching of the eggs. Concurrently with the application of the environmental conditions, the eggs are irradiated according to pre-determined lighting conditions. The lighting conditions include applying light having wavelengths substantially concentrated in selected ranges, such as light wavelengths within the 440-460 nm, or other narrow range.
CROW REDUCING ROOSTER AND POULTRY COLLAR
A method for limiting the volume of a crow of a rooster includes providing a collar that includes a strip of flexible material. The collar includes a securing element disposed on the strip and configured to secure the collar at the neck of the rooster. The method includes placing the collar around the neck of the rooster such that the strip encircles the neck of the rooster. After placing the collar around the neck of the rooster, securing the collar at the neck of the rooster via the securing element at a position and at a tightness around the neck of the rooster such that expansion of the neck of the rooster for breathing is allowed and further expansion of the neck of the rooster for crowing is restricted by the collar.

SYSTEM FOR MEASURING BODY TEMPERATURE IN POULTRY
An arrangement for measuring the body temperature of a bird comprises: (a) an enclosure having at least one aperture configured for receiving a bird's head thereinto at least in a partial manner; (b) at least one receptacle mounted within the enclosure; at least one receptacle accommodating an attractor; (c) at least one remote sensing instrument configured for acquire thermal reading and calculating bird's temperatures. The remote sensor instrument and the receptacle accommodating the attractor are mutually disposed such that at least the bird's head is within a field of view of the remote sensor instrument.
Broiler container with a base and side walls, which is designed and set up for receiving and holding at least five living broilers, in particular as part of a unit, and an arrangement of a transport trailer
The invention relates to broiler containers having a floor and side walls defining an inner volume which is designed and configured to receive and accommodate at least five live broilers, wherein the broiler container is designed and configured to be stackable with broiler containers of the same construction and has at least one ventilation opening and at least one air outflow opening, which broiler container is characterised in that the broiler container comprises at least one segment of a ventilation or air outflow column which extends through the inner volume and has at least one ventilation or air outflow opening at a distance from the side walls, wherein each segment of the ventilation or air outflow column is designed and configured for connection to corresponding segments of broiler containers of the same construction and also for connection to an active ventilation system. The invention relates also to a unit comprising at least two containers, to an arrangement comprising a unit and a ventilation system, to a transport trailer, to a poultry slaughterhouse, and to a method for ventilating the broilers.
LOADING AID FOR STACKED TRANSPORT CONTAINERS TO BE FILLED WITH LIVE POULTRY ANIMALS
A loading aid is for temporary intermediate storage of transport containers which are at least partially open to the top, are exclusively empty and are standing ready in a stack during filling with live poultry animals. The aid includes a rack having, on a front side facing the stack, at least two spaced apart vertical support struts and at least two insertion openings for containers arranged above one another between the struts. The rack has, on a rear side, at least two spaced apart vertical support struts. Slide rails extend on both sides of the rack from the struts on the front to struts on the rear to form a receptacle for a container. The rack has at least two receptacles arranged above each other, which is distinguished in that the slide rails on the front side protrude beyond the vertical support struts. A method is also provided.
POULTRY VOICEPRINT IDENTIFICATION METHOD AND SYSTEM
A poultry voiceprint identification system includes a receiver, a feature processing module, a feature analysis module and an artificial intelligence sound model. The receiver is arranged in a poultry house for receiving a recording information of a poultry house for a period of time. A stocking density of poultry in the poultry house is 7 per square meter or more. The feature processing module converts the recording information into a plurality of sound features via filtering, segmentation and extraction methods. The artificial intelligence sound model generates a training group according to the sound features. The feature analysis module analyzes each sound feature to determine a sound state of each sound feature through an artificial intelligence sound model. The sound state includes a normal poultry sound state or an abnormal poultry sound state. The system accurately and quickly identifies the sound from abnormal poultry among high stocking density poultry.
