According to the invention, this assembly comprises: a first conveyor (10) for conveying the poultry birds, a carousel (12) comprising a rotating platform (14), said carousel (12) being configured to ensure, during the rotation of this platform (14), a spatial separation of the poultry birds introduced at the entry thereof so as to place them in a single file, an ejector (18) for ejecting the poultry birds thus separated from the carousel (12) and aligning them towards a discharge conveyor (19).

A weight estimation system includes: an image capturer that captures an image of an inside of a poultry house; a calculator that calculates a flocking behavior feature quantity of chickens in the poultry house by performing image processing on the image captured by the image capturer; and an estimator that estimates a weight for each chicken in the poultry house, based on the flocking behavior feature quantity calculated.

Through the use of a master clock within a gateway and/or a master controller that is in communication with LED lights in an array that is in a facility, such as in a greenhouse, hot house, poultry egg production facility, a hospital, dairy production or other lighting facilities, the gateway and/or master controller is capable of synchronizing the emission of light or photons from an LED light array by generating a master signal that contains commands and time from a master clock within the signal that is transmitted to each of the LED lights within an array.
