Shear blade and cutting device
A shear blade is for a portable hydraulic cutting device having a blade body. The blade body has assembly and cutting regions, with a cutting edge in the cutting region. A contact surface is on one side of the cutting edge for an additional shear blade. An outer surface on the other side of the cutting edge acts on the object to be cut. A first surface portion of the outer surface extends away from the cutting edge along an orthogonal, which meets the contact surface at the cutting edge, or at an acute angle relative to the orthogonal. A second surface portion connects to the first surface portion at an acute angle to the orthogonal. A third surface portion connects to the second surface portion at an acute angle to the orthogonal. Angle is smaller than angle , which is smaller than angle .
Tooth block for a demolition tool
A tooth shroud for a demolition tool is disclosed wherein forces produced during demolition operations may be dissipated so as to avoid excessive forces at stress points. A tooth block for a demolition tool comprises a first tooth shroud and a second tooth shroud. The first and second tooth shroud each comprising a body having a front wall and an end wall wherein a cavity is enclosed by the front wall and the end wall; an impact member extending longitudinally from the body; and a cut-out disposed on the end wall, wherein the first tooth shroud is connected to the second tooth shroud.

TOOL FOR CUTTING A WORKPIECE
A tool configured to cut a workpiece includes a tool head which has a receiving contour in which the workpiece is received, and a movable cutting edge with a cutting contour. In the course of a cutting process, the cutting edge passes through the receiving contour. The cutting edge is subjected to the effect of an advancement part and can be moved to such an extent in the cutting direction(s) that it can pass all the way through the workpiece. In an embodiment, a position of the cutting edge reached after the cutting edge has passed all the way through the workpiece, the cutting edge, with removal from the advancement part, can be moved out from the cutting direction(s).
Shear blade having a positive camber and method of adding a positive camber to a shear blade
A hydraulically activated shear is provided. The shear includes: a first jaw; a second jaw sliding past the first jaw in a shearing motion; and a first cutting plate attached to at least one side of the first and second jaws, the first cutting plate defining a shear edge and a shear surface, the shear surface having a positive camber with respect to a plane perpendicular to the jaws, wherein at least one of the first and second jaws is actuated by a hydraulic cylinder.
CUTTING DEVICE
A cutting device includes a cutting member (70) having a pair of cutting parts (71) and (73) rotatable around a common shaft (75) in a mutually approaching direction and/or in a mutually separating direction, and a driving unit that operates the cutting member (70) so that each of the cutting parts (71) and (73) rotates around the shaft (75) in the mutually approaching direction and/or in the mutually separating direction. Each of the cutting parts (71) and (73) of the cutting member 70 has an opposing blade part (72) and (74) respectively. The convex portions 72b and 74b have a shape such that convex portions (72b) and (74b) first contact the cylindrical rod when each of the cutting parts (71) and (73) rotates around the shaft (75) to move in the mutually approaching direction.
HEAVY DUTY MATERIAL PROCESSOR
Heavy-duty material processors (e.g., shears, concrete crushers) include a jaw that pivotally connects to another jaw. A hydraulic cylinder extends between the jaws to open and close the jaws in a shearing motion. Cutting/shearing/crushing blade inserts mount to detachable blade holders, which in turn mount to one of the jaws. Wedge blocks securely and detachably attach the blade inserts to the remainder of their associated jaw, and rely on force-amplifying wedge surfaces to ensure a secure attachment. The detachable blade holders may include lateral flanges that extend across an otherwise exposed face of their respective underlying jaw bodies to protect the jaw bodies during use. A blade on one of the jaws is laterally adjustable, which helps to free a jam if one of the jaws gets jammed into the space between blades in the other jaw.
Armored Cable Cutter with Cutting Blade Retention
An example cutting head for a hydraulic power tool may include a first jaw that includes a first ear configured with a slot for receiving a corresponding ear. The second jaw includes a second ear with a third ear bore that aligns in between a first ear bore and to a second ear bore of the first ear when the second ear is coupled in the slot of the first ear. The cutting head further includes a spring-biased flange coupled to a blade mounted to the first jaw and a retained coupled at a fixed position to a blade mounted to the second jaw. The retainer is configured to receive the flange during a cutting action such that the flange prevents the blades from shifting out of alignment during the cutting action.
MOTOR-OPERATED SHEARS
A motor-operated shears which includes two blades that can move towards each other to perform a shearing movement is provided. In order to advantageously improve functional safety, towards the end of the movement, the blades are acted upon in a direction running transversely to the movement so as to keep the blades at a distance from one another in said direction.
SHEARING MACHINE FOR DISMANTLING A LARGE AIRCRAFT AND WORKING VEHICLE FOR DISMANTLING A LARGE AIRCRAFT
As shearing blades of a first jaw portion, a shearing machines includes: a tip blade; a pair of first parallel shearing blades bent at an obtuse angle to the biting direction of the tip blade and disposed both sides of the blade width; and a pair of second parallel shearing blades bent at an obtuse angle to an attaching portion of the first parallel shearing blades and disposed on both sides of the blade width. As a tip blade, the shearing machine includes: a point blade a pair of tip tapered blades disposed on both sides of an end portion and whose blade width is increased toward the rear end; and a pair of tapered blades bent at an obtuse angle to an attaching portion of the rear end portion of the tip tapered blades and disposed toward the first parallel shearing blades.
