20190283033 · 2019-09-19 · ·

The application relates to a demolition device for demolishing a concrete structure according to one embodiment. The device has a crushing blade for crushing concrete, and a cutting blade for cutting metal or a pulverizing blade for grinding concrete, and a combination blade. The device can be attached to a utility machine in a detachable manner. The crushing and cutting/pulverizing blade are separate blades from each other. The combination blade is adapted to be used for crushing concrete with the crushing blade. The combination blade is adapted to be used for cutting metal with the cutting blade or for grinding concrete with the pulverizing blade. The combination blade has abutment surface parts for the crushing and cutting/pulverizing blade. The abutment surface part for the cutting/pulverizing blade makes possible a power transmission between the cutting/pulverizing and combination blade when using the combination blade for crushing concrete. The abutment surface part for the crushing blade makes possible a power transmission between the crushing and combination blade when using the combination blade for cutting metal or grinding concrete.

DEMOLITION SHEAR AND DEMOLITION SHEAR PIERCING TIP INSERT AND NOSE CONFIGURATION

A demolition shear and a piercing tip insert and nose configuration for a demolition shear which resists nose wear and resists retract forces exerted on the piercing tip insert in jamming situations and in the event of snagging of the piercing tip insert. The piercing tip insert includes first and second piercing tip halves, each half having an outer planar sidewall, a curved front wall extending laterally inward, and a bottom leg extending laterally inward defining a shearing edge and a piercing edge.

SHEAR BLADE FOR A CUTTING TOOL

A shear blade (2) is for a portable hydraulic cutting device, such as a rescue device having a blade body (9). The blade body (9) has an assembly region (18) and a cutting region (15), a cutting edge (16) in the cutting region (15), a contact surface (13), located on one side of the cutting edge (16), for an additional shear blade. An outer surface (14), located on the other side of the cutting edge (16), is provided to act on the object to be cut. The cutting region (15) has a recess (22) for receiving a cutting insert (21). The recess (22) is configured such that the cutting insert (21) is insertable into the recess (22) at an acute angle to the contact surface (13) of the shear blade (2).

A contact surface is on one side of the cutting edge for an additional shear blade. An outer surface on the other side of the cutting edge acts on the object to be cut. A first surface portion of the outer surface extends away from the cutting edge along an orthogonal, which meets the contact surface at the cutting edge, or at an acute angle relative to the orthogonal. A second surface portion connects to the first surface portion at an acute angle to the orthogonal. A third surface portion connects to the second surface portion at an acute angle to the orthogonal. Angle is smaller than angle , which is smaller than angle .

SINGLE BODY DEMOLITION SHEAR BLADE

A single-piece, indexable or repositionable tip blade for a demolition shear is disclosed which substantially or completely shrouds the tang of the moveable jaw on five-sides. According to the invention, the single piece defines a first and a second piercing edge such that the blade is reversible and can be rotated and provides two edges for shearing. The demolition blade is a one piece, join line free structure which shrouds the entire tang, to allow for maximum results whilst piercing. The single-piece demolition shear blade comprising a blade body (401), said blade body comprising a cavity for receiving the tang of a moveable jaw of a demolition shear therein; said blade body having spaced apart first (413) and second (414) piercing edges; said indexable demolition shear blade being removably attachable to a jaw of a demolition shear in either a first or a second position; the indexable demolition shear blade being rotatable 180? between said first and second position; wherein, in said first position, said first piercing edge (413) is presented for piercing use and in said second position said second piercing edge (414) is presented for piercing use; and in either the first or the second position, the single-piece demolition shear blade substantially shrouds the tang of said moveable jaw of a demolition shear.

Replaceable Work Part For A Demolition Tool

A replaceable work part for a jaw assembly of a demolition tool is disclosed. The work part (10) comprises a base (12) and a tooth portion (14) provided on an upper side of the base (12). A plurality of mounting legs (16, 18) extend downward from the base. Each mounting leg defines a recess (20, 22) and is configured to engage a corresponding mounting structure formed on a jaw of the jaw assembly. The work part (10) is mounted to the jaw by being inserted into the same from above and sliding the same onto the jaw in a sliding direction to engage the mounting legs (16, 18) with the mounting structures of the jaw. In this state, locking members are inserted between the work part (10) and the jaw and secured to the work part (10) to restrict movement of the work part (10) in the direction opposite to the mounting direction.
