Automated DIN rail shear system
An apparatus is described that is suitable for automated manufacture of electrical control panel DIN rails. The apparatus is directed to an automated assembly that shears multiple DIN rail blanks at varying lengths without a need to manually feed DIN rail blanks through a cutter. The apparatus is particularly well suited for use in an automated assembly of electrical control panels that require customized lengths of significant quantities of DIN rail.

DEVICE FOR CUTTING STRUCTURAL STEELS
A cutting device for cutting a number of structural steels in series is disclosed. The cutting device may include a cutting mechanism coupled to an actuating mechanism, both mounted on a support frame. The cutting mechanism may include a stationary cutting member having a plurality of openings and a movable cutting member mounted in side-by-side abutment with the stationary cutting member. Each lateral opening on the stationary cutting member is aligned with the corresponding opening on the movable cutting member, thereby forming a single extended opening, which is capable of receiving a workpiece therein. The movable cutting member is movable relative to the stationary cutting member from a first position to a second position. As the movable cutting member moves, it moves the aligned openings of the individual cutting members out of alignment one after another thereby shearing the workpieces in the process.
Method and machine for cutting blinds
A method and machine for cutting woven wood blinds is disclosed. The disclosed machine can include a cutting mechanism, a support surface adjacent at least one opening in the cutting mechanism housing, a spring loaded clamp which engages the woven wood blind to hold the blind securely for cutting without damaging the blind. The clamp is preferably operated by a hand screw. An indicator such as a collar attached to the hand screw is provided to tell the user when the clamp is positioned to provide the desired pressure. The disclosed method can include positioning a window covering into a cutting machine, positioning a first cutting support member on the window covering, moving a clamp to engage the first cutting support member and cutting the window covering.
CUTTING TOOL FOR SEAMLESS GUTTER MACHINE
A cutter for cutting a formed gutter discharged from a seamless gutter machine. The cutter may be positioned to cut a back wall of a formed gutter below a front upper edge of a front wall of the gutter. In turn, a gutter may be mounted to a building (e.g., a fascia board thereof) to achieve additional lift, thereby providing increased pitch over a given length of gutter while maintaining overlap between a gutter apron and a back upper edge of the back wall of the formed gutter.

IMPACT CUTOFF
An impact cutoff device for a progressive high speed cold former having a low mass rigid cutter carriage, a torsion spring for carriage return, and an articulated, oil lubricated and dampened carriage drive block on a pivoting drive lever serving to reduce impact induced vibration otherwise leading to fatigue failure and wear of the various cutter parts and consequent loss of cutoff accuracy and quality.

Curtain cutting machine
A curtain cutting machine contains: a base, a first cutting mechanism, and a movable platform. The base includes a fixed platform having a front segment and a rear segment. The first cutting mechanism includes a lower cutting assembly with plural first orifices and has an upper cutting assembly with at least one second orifice. The movable platform includes two support racks, two slidable adjusting devices, and a holding plate. The two support racks are arranged on a rear side of the fixed platform of the base and extend upwardly, each of the two slidable adjusting devices is mounted on each of the two support racks and moves forward and backward on each of the two support racks, the holding plate is connected with each slidable adjusting device to hold a curtain, and the holding plate moves forward and backward on the two support racks with the two slidable adjusting devices.
