SAW ANGLE GAGE
20230173596 · 2023-06-08 ·

A saw angle gage is a square or rectangular shaped platform with two (2) electrical contacts attached to one of the four sides of the platform. A battery and a light are mounted to the platform and wired together with the two (2) electrical contacts forming an isolated electrical circuit that is open between the two (2) electrical contacts. When both of the electrical contacts touch a current conducting object, the light will illuminate. When both electrical contacts touch a current conducting object and the full length of one of the adjacent sides of the platform touches a different object, the light will illuminate, indicating a right-angle relationship between the objects. When both electrical contacts touch a current conducting object and the full length of the opposite side of the platform touches a different object, the light will illuminate, indicating a parallel relationship between the objects.

Dust capturing device for reciprocating saws
09821389 · 2017-11-21 · ·

A Dust Capturing Device for Reciprocating Saws is disclosed. The device is attachable to a convenational shop vacuum cleaner so that virtually all dust created by the reciprocating saw at the cutting blade is captured by the vacuum cleaner. The system is universally attachable to all powered reciprocating saws on the market. A pair of suction hoses are snugly attached to the body of the saw, from intake ports located adjacent to the saw blade to an adapter manifold that combines the two suction hoses into a single hose adaptable to the vacuum cleaner hose. The hoses are attached to the body of the saw by one or more body straps, with each body strap having a pair of hose clips extending therefrom for restraining the two suction hoses running along the body.

MITER SAW

Within such embodiment, the filter cleaning knob is configured to rotate the cylindrical filter. The filter cleaning flap is coupled to the cylindrical filter and configured to sequentially make contact with a plurality of pleated segments of the cylindrical filter as the filter cleaning knob is rotated.

Method for Controlling a Wall Saw System When Making a Separating Cut

A method for controlling a wall saw system during the creation of a separating cut in a workpiece between a first and a second end point is disclosed. The separating cut is performed in a plurality of main cuts. The movement of the saw head is controlled at the end points such that a boundary of the wall saw facing the end point coincides with the end point after the pivoting movement of the saw arm into the main-cut angle of the following main cut. For a free end point, the boundary of the wall saw is formed by an upper exit point of the saw blade. For an obstacle, the boundary is formed by the saw blade edge of the saw blade if the processing occurs without the blade guard or by the blade guard edge of the blade guard if the processing occurs with the blade guard.
