CIRCULAR SAW
A circular saw includes a blade guard and a saw blade at least partially enclosed within the blade guard. The saw blade has an outer diameter that is greater than 6 inches. The circular saw further includes a motor housing coupled to the blade guard, a brushless electric motor supported within the motor housing, and a battery pack for providing power to the brushless electric motor.
Suction device
A suction device for a handheld power tool that is adapted to be driven in oscillation and that is equipped with a gearbox extension housing for mounting of the suction device. The suction device having a body mounted on the gearbox extension housing of the handheld power tool via a mounting section and an air duct formed in the body, the air duct being delimited at one end by an air inlet and at an other end by an air outlet on which a suction apparatus or a dust exhauster is adapted to be detachably mounted. The mounting section of the body is formed essentially as a hollow cylinder and extends between a first plane and a second plane, which are substantially parallel.
Adjustable fence mounting assembly for a table saw
An adjustable mounting assembly for a table saw fence includes an elongate track for connecting to a table saw. A carriage is supported by and movable longitudinally on the track for carrying the fence such that the fence extends across a tabletop of the table saw. An incremental adjustment wheel mechanism is rotatably supported by the carriage and interengages the track. The adjustment wheel mechanism is rotated a selected amount to adjust the position of the carriage on the track. The track carries an electronic sensor strip and a digital readout attached to the carriage movably cooperates with the electronic sensor strip for measuring and displaying the longitudinal position of the carriage on the track and the position of the fence relative to the saw blade.
Track square with adjustable mechanism
A track square and a method of use thereof. The track square is adjustable to change an angle at which a guide rail is engaged therewith. A user is able to make a cut with a track saw that is oriented at right angles to the edge of the wood but is also able to make cuts at angles of less than ninety degrees relative thereto. The guide rail is secured to a rotatable turntable on the track square by an engagement mechanism. The turntable is rotated to the desired angle utilizing an angle setting mechanism and is then locked at the selected angle by a locking mechanism. The engaged guide rail and track square are positioned on the piece of wood to be cut and the track saw is moved along the guide rail to cut the wood at the set angle.
EXTENDIBLE OUTFEED ACCESSORY FOR A TABLE SAW
A table saw accessory is provided that generally includes: an outfeed support having at least one surface for supporting material fed through the table saw beyond an end thereof; a telescopic section having a proximal end and a distal end, and configured to extend outward from the end of the table saw, where the outfeed support is coupled to the telescopic section at the end thereof; and a connection system for attaching the accessory to the table saw, where the connection system is coupled to the telescopic section at the proximal end thereof.
WORK MACHINE
Provided is a work machine with improved operatability. In a cutting tool, a guard member that is made of metal is provided inside a chip discharge passage section, and a bottom wall of the chip discharge passage section on a saw blade side is covered by the guard member. In other words, a bottom surface of the chip discharge passage section is guarded by the guard member that is made of metal. Accordingly, the guard member can prevent high-temperature metal chips from coming into direct contact with the bottom wall of the chip discharge passage section. Thus, deformation of the chip discharge passage section when chips pass through the chip discharge passage section can be suppressed. Consequently, the durability of a saw cover can be increased, and the operatability of the cutting tool can be improved.
Rotatable Member with Work Surfaces for a Saw Apparatus
A rotatable member is mountable on a tabletop of a power tool apparatus. The rotatable member includes a first work surface and a second work surface. The first work surface is on a first side of the rotatable member. The second work surface is on a second side of the rotatable member. The second side is different from the first side. The rotatable member is configured to move into a first position such that the first work surface is level with a surface of the tabletop. In addition, the rotatable member is configured to move into a second position such that the second work surface is level with the surface of the tabletop.
SAW SUPPORT ASSEMBLY
A saw support assembly includes a base member defining a receiving channel. The receiving channel of the base member is configured to receive a leg of a saw therein to secure the base member to the leg of the saw. An arm member is pivotably coupled to the base member. The arm member is configured to pivot towards or away from the base member. The arm member is configured to extend from the base member to support the leg of the saw to which the base member is secured. A branch member extends between the base member and the arm member. The branch member defines a first end connected with the base member and a second end connected with the support arm. The branch member is configured to limit a degree to which the arm member can pivot away from the base member.
Conductive boot for power tool protection
Apparatus for high voltage power line maintenance and repair. In some embodiments, a power tool has a housing which encloses an electrical load and a control electronics circuit using a first shield as a layer of conductive material which is open at a battery pack receiving slot of the housing configured to receive a removable battery pack. A removable boot surrounds the removeable battery pack and has a second shield as a layer of conductive material which combines with the first shield to form a combined shield that nominally encloses the power tool and the boot. An insulative hot stick supports the power tool at a distal end and a user interface at a proximal end. The user interface includes a communication circuit that communicates with the control electronics circuit via a non-conductive communication link that extends along the hot stick to selectively activate the electrical load.
