Systems and methods for milling saw blade tooth profiles and saw blades with milled tooth profiles
Systems and methods for milling saw blade tooth profiles and saw blades with milled tooth profiles are disclosed herein. The systems include blade milling systems that include a milling head, a blade support structure, a blade advance structure, and a control system. The methods include supporting a saw blade, advancing the saw blade, and machining a finished tooth profile in a working portion of the saw blade with an end mill. In some embodiments, the machining may include operatively translating the end mill relative to the saw blade with a milling head and within a plane that is at least substantially perpendicular to an end mill rotational axis. In some embodiments, the machining may include dry-machining the finished tooth profile in the working portion of the saw blade in a single pass. The saw blades include a plurality of teeth and may include at least one relief region.

Chainsaw guide bar mounting device
A chain saw guide bar mounting device for facilitating maintenance of a cutting chain includes a first plate that is configured to mount to a support structure. A second plate that is coupled to the first plate extends longitudinally from proximate to a first end of the first plate. Each of a pair of couplers coupled to the second plate is configured to couple to a respective penetration that is positioned in a guide bar of a chain saw. A bracket, which is slidably coupled to the first plate, is positioned between the second plate and a second end of the first plate. A second rod is selectively couplable to the bracket. A hub is axially positioned on and rotationally coupled to the second rod. The hub is positioned to rotationally couple to a cutting chain that is positioned on the guide bar to position the cutting chain for maintenance.
Saw blade and system and method for manufacturing a saw blade
A method of manufacturing a saw blade includes providing a coil stock, setting a first portion of the coil stock in a first direction, setting a second portion of the coil stock in a second direction opposite the first direction, and forming a plurality of cutting teeth in the first portion and the second portion of the coil stock after the first and second portions are set.
Method for removing a section from a tire using a saw blade
A method and apparatus for removing a section from a tire is disclosed. The method and apparatus are configured so that one side of a saw blade used to cut a section from a tire is treated by dulling. The treatment allows for the removal of a section of a tire so cords embedded in various layers of the tire are protected from damage and the surface texture surrounding the removed section of the tire is adequate for repair.

Feed Finger Positioning Apparatus And Methods
An apparatus for positioning a feed finger engageable with a saw blade includes: a first motion system configured to move the feed finger in a first degree of freedom; a second motion system configured to move the feed finger in a second degree of freedom different than the first degree of freedom; and a third motion system configured to move the feed finger in a third degree of freedom different than the first and second degrees of freedom. The third degree of freedom includes linear translational motion in a direction having a non-zero component normal to a plane of the saw blade.
Fluid line part for a microfluidic device, microfluidic device, and method for producing a microfluidic device
A fluid line part for a microfluidic device includes a first substrate having a first surface in which at least one depression is provided, the depression forming a channel for conducting a fluid along a main flow direction. At least one support web extends lengthwise inside the channel along the main flow direction. The support web is configured and positioned such that fluid flows freely around it.
Molecular cryptographic sampling devices and methods of making and using
A molecular cryptographic sampling device is disclosed including at least one unique identifying indicia disposed on the molecular cryptographic sampling device, a substrate including at least one depression disposed in or protrusion disposed on a surface of the substrate, at least one polymeric sorbent coating disposed on the at least one depression or protrusion, and at least one molecular encrypted code disposed on the at least one polymeric sorbent coating. The at least one molecular encrypted code includes at least one molecular tag, wherein the at least one molecular encrypted code is uniquely associated with the at least one unique identifying indicia in a database or by a predetermined algorithm.
