MACHINING TOOL FOR DEBURRING BOREHOLES
A machining tool for deburring boreholes, which lead laterally into a recess, comprising: a shaft; a cutting head with at least one circumferential cutting blade associated with a chip groove and having a cutting edge extending, at least in sections, in an axial direction, and which can perform a cutting process by virtue of relative movement between the tool and a workpiece, and which lies on a virtual cylindrical rotation surface; and at least one cutting-blade-free and chip-groove-free surface area; at least one fluid channel closed on the cutting head side, extending through the shaft into the cutting head; and at least one branch channel with an outlet opening. The outlet opening is in a dynamic pressure active surface radially set back relative to the virtual rotation surface, and is larger than a flow cross-sectional area of the at least one branch channel at the outlet opening.
REAMER
A reamer is rotated about a central axis and has, in a direction along a central axis, a tool front end and a tool rear end that is an end opposite to the tool front end. The reamer includes a blade on a tool front end side. The blade has, on a circumferential surface, a chamfered cutting edge located on the tool front end side, a circumferential cutting edge contiguous to an end of the chamfered cutting edge on a tool rear end side, and a margin that is a surface contiguous to the circumferential cutting edge. The circumferential cutting edge includes a front end portion between a first position and a second position, the first position being an end on a chamfered cutting edge side, the second position having a distance of 1 mm from the first position in a direction of extension of the circumferential cutting edge.
BLACK HAWK BUSHING REMOVAL AND REAMER DEVICE
The device disclosed herein allows a user to maintain the outboard stabilator of a Blackhawk helicopter. The device, which comprises a kit, allows a user to remove damaged outdoor stabilator bushings from a Blackhawk. Upon removal, the device enables a user to install new outdoor stabilator bushings. Additionally, the device allows a user to ream the newly installed outdoor stabilator bushings so that the outboard stabilator may be reinstalled upon the Blackhawk and safely flown.
METHODS OF FORMING HOLES IN A WORKPIECE AND ASSOCIATED SYSTEMS
Described herein is a first method of forming a hole in a workpiece, having a first surface and a second surface opposite the first surface. The method includes forming a first hole, having a first diameter, in the workpiece by passing a first cutter through the workpiece from the first surface to the second surface. Additionally, the method includes forming a chamfer in the second surface of the workpiece concentric with the first hole using a second cutter. The chamfer has a second diameter larger than the first diameter. The method further includes forming a second hole, having a third diameter larger than the first diameter, in the workpiece concentric with the first hole by passing a third cutter through the workpiece from the first surface to the second surface.
Multi-Part Modular Tool
A multi-part modular tool rotatable about a longitudinal tool axis (A), comprising: a machining head; a first holding element comprising a body elongated along the longitudinal axis (A) of the tool, in which a passage extends along the longitudinal axis (A) of the tool; a second holding element which can extend in the passage of the first holding element; wherein the machining head can be connected to the second holding element in such a way that the machining head is fixed firmly to the first holding element at least in the axial direction (A) and/or in the radial direction (R), and wherein the passage of the first holding element and the second holding element are adapted to one another such that during a connection process in which the machining head is connected to the second holding element, the second holding element is movable relative to the first holding element.
DRILLING TOOL, IN PARTICULAR REAMER
A drilling tool, in particular a reamer, for drilling out a workpiece core bore to a nominal diameter by means of a main blade formed on a drill body is disclosed. The main blade has a radially external cutting edge which extends along a drill-body longitudinal axis as far as a blade corner arranged at the drill tip, wherein during the drilling-out operation, the drilling tool is drivable into the workpiece core bore with a rotary movement and a feed movement. The drilling tool has at least one groove blade which is arranged so as to precede the blade corner of the main blade in the direction of rotation of the tool. During the drilling-out operation, the groove blade produces a groove in the inner wall of the core bore drilling, the blade corner of the main blade being guided in the groove with an at least reduced cutting load.
Calibration head for the drilling of shafts
A cylindrical calibration head for the drilling of a shaft, includes three flutes arranged evenly around the circumference so that they are spaced one from the next by an angle of 120° with respect to a rotation with respect to the axis of the calibration head, the flutes allowing for the removal of chips and the passage of lubricant during drilling, each of the flutes including a machining insert of which the position in the flute can be adjusted using an adjusting cartridge.
DRILL AND METHOD OF PRODUCING DRILLED PRODUCT
According to one implementation, a drill includes the first cutting edges, the second cutting edges and a deflection reducer. The first cutting edges drill a prepared hole to a workpiece. The first cutting edges are formed in a tip side of the drill. The first point angle and each first relief angle of the first cutting edges continuously or intermittently decrease from the tip side toward a rear end side of the drill. The second cutting edges finish the prepared hole. The second cutting edges are formed at positions away in the rear end side from the first cutting edges. The second cutting edges have the second relief angles at a maximum diameter position. The deflection reducer reduces deflection of the second cutting edges by being inserted into the prepared hole. The deflection reducer is formed between the first cutting edges and the second cutting edges.
Oil hole reamer
An oil hole reamer includes an oil passage extending inside a tool main body along an axis of the tool main body, and an oil hole extending radially outward from the oil passage to an outer circumference of the tool main body. An oil outlet of the oil hole is formed to be open toward a position corresponding to a corner at which a tip cutting edge intersects an outer-circumference cutting edge and to cause at least part of the oil outlet to be open to the outer-circumference flank face.
