Apiary shelter with configurable flight path
A form-fitting cover that when placed over a supporting frame, can be used as an enclosed apiary. A configurable opening at the top directs the flight path of the bees up and away from outdoor living spaces and nearby homes.

Structures and methods for removal of frames from beehives and a bee-gate
A beehive for commercial or recreational beekeeping comprises: a plurality of frames and honeycomb frames in a beehive chamber; a mechanism for removing the honeycomb frames from the beehive chamber and inserting the honeycomb frames thereinto; a barrier, planar elements, fluid barrier, or any combination thereof adapted to move the honeycomb frames through while exiting the beehive chamber and to propel bees off the honeycomb frame while making sure the bees remain inside the beehive chamber.
Mowing machine blower assembly using a direct drive fan for bee displacement prior to vegetation cutting
A bee displacement assembly provided as a mowing machine with a direct drive operated fan housed inside a housing formed with a funnel leading from an interior space of the housing and terminating in a mouth. The funnel tapers both horizontally and vertically to the mouth such that the mouth approximates a narrow, widened slot. Powering the motor turns the drive shaft that in turn operates the fan, creating a concentrated stream of air inside the fan housing that is channelized in the funnel and emitted out the mouth at an area of uncut vegetation immediately prior to cutting by a cutting deck of the mowing machine.

Method for displacing bees in vegetation subject to mowing or cutting
A method for displacing bees from vegetation subject to cutting by a mowing machine having a cutting deck and using a blower assembly affixed to the mowing machine. The assembly is provided as a fan or motorized blower affixed to a funnel. In operation, the fan or motorized blower creates then forces a concentrated air stream into the funnel that then directs the concentrated air stream to an area of vegetation immediately in front of the cutting deck, displacing bees in the area of vegetation prior to cutting. A funnel mouth is oriented so that the emitted air stream is at least as wide as the cutting deck, and multiple blower assemblies or larger funnel attachments may be used to accommodate larger cutting decks. The method includes selective actuation of the blower while operating the mowing machine.

Honey Frame Hanger
Through the years honeycomb frames have been pulled from the hive during inspection and placed on a frame perch available from a supplier. This frame perch is directly attached to the hive body that is being inspected. If the beekeeper does not have a perch the honeycomb frame is placed on the ground. Neither of these methods is practical for the hobby beekeeper with two or more hives. Our invention aids the beekeeper by providing a convenient place to temporarily hold honey frames that are being inspected without the hassle of moving the frame perch from one hive to another. Our frame holder would be located to the rear of the hive in order service multiple hives.
