UNIFORM MACHINED PARTS INSPECTION PROCESS
Techniques are described by which to enable uniform machined parts inspection processes. A device comprising a memory and a processor may be configured to perform the techniques. The memory may store a unified scan of a workholding piece with a machined part, where the unified scan defines a coordinate system for the workholding piece. The memory may also store a reference model of the machined part. The processor may align, based on the coordinate system for the workholding piece, the unified scan of the workholding piece with the machined part to the reference model, and perform, after aligning the unified scan to the reference model, a comparison of the unified scan to the reference model. The processor may output, based on the comparison, an indication of compliance or non-compliance with the tolerances for the machined part.
MULTI-CHANNEL ELECTROCHEMICAL MACHINING DEVICE AND METHOD FOR BLISK
Disclosed are a multi-channel electrochemical machining device and method for a blisk, and relate to the technical field of blisk electrochemical machining. The multi-channel electrochemical machining device for a blisk comprises an electrolytic bath used for accommodating an electrolyte, a blisk workpiece, a tube electrode and a top cover plate. The top cover plate is located above the blisk workpiece. An electrolysis chamber used for the tube electrode to electrolyze the blisk workpiece is formed between the lower surface of the top cover plate and the surface of the blisk workpiece. The electrolysis chamber communicates with the electrolytic bath. A drainage seam communicating the electrolysis chamber and the electrolytic bath along the axial direction of the blisk workpiece is formed in the upper surface of the top cover plate.
TOOL HOLDER, ROTATION TOOL, AND COMBINATION OF TOOL HOLDER AND TOOL
A tool holder has a base element, a deformable receiver for clamping a tool and at least one locking element configured for preventing an axial extraction of the tool from the tool holder through engaging a corresponding opposite element at the tool. The at least one locking element is integrally configured in one piece with the receiver.
DOWNHOLE TOOL
The present invention relates to a downhole tool (23), for removing sections of metal tubing, comprising: at least one conductive element (1) being arranged to corrode a section of metal tubing using an electrolytic process, said conductive element (1) being a tube or a pipe which is made of electric conductive material, an apparatus (4) to establish a connection to the metal tubing (2), and a milling apparatus with cutting or abrasive elements (3) arranged to remove byproducts from the electrolytic process. The invention also relates to a modular downhole tool (45), comprising an elongated main shaft (8) with several modules for insertion in a wellbore.
ELECTROPOLISHING SYSTEM WITH PROBE FOR INTERNAL DEBURRING OF PART AND METHOD OF USING THE SAME
A probe assembly of an electropolishing system for electropolishing a surface of a part is disclosed. The probe assembly includes a supply line, at least a part of which is flexible. The supply line defines a fluid passage for a flow of an electrolyte therethrough. The probe assembly also includes an electrode with at least one aperture. The electrode is attached to the supply line and is fluidly connected to the fluid passage for receiving the electrolyte and outputting the electrolyte via the at least one aperture. The electrode is configured to be electrically charged for electropolishing the surface of the part. Also, the probe assembly includes a sensor that is attached to at least one of the supply line and the electrode. The sensor is configured to provide substantially real-time feedback corresponding to the electropolishing of the surface of the part. Methods of using the system are also disclosed.
