The invention also includes a portable system including a carrying case for use with the multi-fuel adapter.
METHOD AND APPARATUS TO MONITOR A FIRE STATE ASSOCIATED WITH A WELDING EVENT
The present invention relates to methods and apparatus for detection of fire states in the presence of welding activities. In some examples, the welding detection system may algorithmically calculate a risk of a fire state developing. In some embodiments, the welding fire detection and prevention system may communicate warning states to users, supervisors, equipment and/or building monitoring systems.

The invention relates to a thermal lance consumable by an exothermic reaction used to perforate and/or cut any type of material of different thicknesses and dimensions, the lance comprising a main outer tubular body and at least one hollow inner profile and/or at least one hollow inner profile that is made of aluminium and/or magnesium and/or another material and has a different cross section, the profiles being located concentrically with respect to each other and/or with respect to the main outer tubular body, cavities being formed between each hollow inner profile and/or the main outer tubular body, the cavities forming passages for oxidizing gas that flows through the length of the thermal lance, wherein the cavities must have at least one straight part and at least one curved part to allow the flow of oxidizing gas to pass through the lance with a suitable turbulence during the operation thereof.
Vulcan fire torch
A torch device includes a case connected to a first cap at a first end of the case, and a second cap at the second end. The first cap closes the first end. The second cap leaves an opening in the second end. A nozzle is connected to the second end. A first section is located in proximity of the nozzle inside the case. The first section contains a thermite material. A second section is located in proximity of the first section inside the case. The second section contains an ignitable composition. A third section is located in proximity of the second section inside the case. The third section contains the ignitable composition. A fourth section is located in proximity of the second section inside the case. The third and fourth sections are separated by an insulating tube. The fourth section contains an oxidizer.

Downhole tool with a propellant charge
A tool for manipulating a tubular, such as casing or production tubing, in a downhole environment, includes a housing defining a chamber, the chamber having at least one outlet, a propellant source located within the chamber and an ignition mechanism for igniting the propellant source. Upon ignition of the propellant source, the propellant deflagrates, creating at least one stream of combustion products, the chamber directing the stream of combustion products through the/each outlet, towards the tubular to be manipulated, the/each stream of combustion products combining with at least one modifying agent to manipulate the tubular.
Systems and methods for shaping materials
Shaping systems and methods suitable for cutting a material, and deburring devices for performing a deburring operation on an edge of the material. Such deburring devices include a manifold having at least first, second, and third nozzles having first, second, and third axes on different first, second, and third planes, respectively. The first, second, and third nozzles are adapted to project first, second, and third gas streams therefrom in the first, second, and third planes axes. A mechanism is provided for orienting the manifold to project the first, second, and third gas streams at the edge of the material.
DOWNHOLE TOOL WITH A PROPELLANT CHARGE
A tool for manipulating a tubular, such as casing or production tubing, in a downhole environment, this described. The tool comprises a housing defining a chamber, the chamber having at least one outlet, a propellant source located within the chamber and an ignition mechanism for igniting the propellant source.
STEEL-FRAME CUTTING METHOD AND DEVICE
A method and an apparatus efficiently and reliably cut a steel frame. The cutting method includes locating a cutting torch apart from the steel frame held by a holding device in a direction along a cutting surface, moving the cutting torch from a cutting start position to a first cutting end position in a first feed direction perpendicular to a supply direction along the cutting surface, while applying a flame from a fire port of the cutting torch in the supply direction and supplying cutting oxygen to thereby cut a part of the cutting surface, stopping the cutting torch at the first cutting end position and thereafter cutting an uncut part by moving the cutting torch from the first cutting end position in a second feed direction opposite to the first feed direction.
