Cutting machine table manufacturing method
A cutting table is provided for supporting flat metal plate to be processed, wherein the support table includes at least one module including: at least two longitudinal end plate members which extend along a longitudinal X axis and are spaced apart a transverse distance Y; and a plurality of spaced apart flat bar members (bar members) which are supported by the end plate members and which span distance Y between the end plate members; wherein the side end plate members and bar members of the module are oriented so that the plane of the end plate members and the bar members all have, in use, a vertical orientation; wherein furthermore in use, the bar members support a sacrificial interlocking grid assembly configured to support the plate to be machined.

Sensor for wear measurement, method for making same, and method for operating same
A spherical bearing comprising: a race; a ball; a wear lining; and a capacitive sensor positioned within or behind the wear lining to gauge wear of said wear lining.
Connecting rod for an engine and method of making thereof
A method to modify the geometry of a connecting rod of an internal combustion engine includes providing a connecting rod having a crankshaft bore at a first end, wherein the first end has a bearing cap and a bottom end portion of the connecting rod, mating the bearing cap with the bottom end portion of the connecting rod to form the crankshaft bore of the connecting rod, machining a width upset portion of the bottom end portion to reduce a width of the bottom end portion of the connecting rod, machining a width upset portion of the bearing cap to reduce a portion of a width of the bearing cap, and reducing the width of the bottom end portion of the connecting rod and the portion of the width of the bearing cap to a width smaller than a cylinder bore of the internal combustion engine.
Disconnect device
A method for installing a wedge connector positioned between two conductive cables includes connecting a head coupler portion of a disconnect assembly to a wedge frame, wherein the head coupler portion includes an extension rod within a longitudinal bore; positioning the wedge frame and a first end of the extension rod against the wedge connector; connecting the head coupler portion to a tool coupler portion of the disconnect assembly, wherein the tool coupler portion is connected to a hydraulic drive tool that includes a ram; causing the hydraulic drive tool to apply force to a second end of the extension rod, wherein applying the force to the second end causes the first end to apply force to the wedge connector; and disconnecting the head coupler portion from the tool coupler portion.

Cooktop burner mounting system
A burner of a gas cooking appliance is mounted through a turn and lock mechanism established between a support member mounted below a cooktop of the appliance and a holder attached to the burner. More specifically, the holder and support member include interengaging structure, allowing the holder to be initially attached to and then twist secured upon the support member. In addition, locating structure is provided to assure the holder is appropriately positioned for proper alignment of the turn and lock mechanism. Furthermore, upon twisting the holder relative to the support member, locking structure retains the holder in a desired, operational position.

JACK FOOT RETRACTION SYSTEM
A system for supporting a vehicle. The system may include a vehicle jack in mechanical communication with a jack foot and a striker plate. The jack foot is rotatable relative to the vehicle jack on a rotation axis disposed on the vehicle jack and perpendicular to a long axis of the vehicle jack. The jack foot includes a base at a distal end of the jack foot. The jack foot also includes a cam surface at least in part at a proximal end of the jack foot. The cam surface is aligned with the striker plate and interacts with the striker plate to rotate the jack foot in response to movement of the vehicle jack from a lowered position to a raised position.
