Component mounting machine
A component mounting machine includes a tool station and a determination section. The tool station detachably accommodates a holding member including a main body section which can hold a component to be mounted on a board and multiple identification sections which can identify multiple accommodation angles. The determination section determines an angle difference in which the accommodation angle of the holding member differs from a predetermined accommodation angle. At least one identification section of the multiple identification sections is defined as a first identification section, the at least one identification section being exposed when the accommodation angle of the holding member is the predetermined accommodation angle in a close state in which the multiple identification sections are partially covered by a shielding member. When the determination section cannot recognize the first identification section in the close state, the determination section attempts to recognize a second identification section.
Threaded insert removal tool with torque multiplier
A method and device for rotational disconnection a nozzle from a valve body, to include transferring torque applied to an input adapter, through a gear system, to a rotational, self-centering chuck, with a plurality of jaws to secure a nozzle threadedly secured within a valve body, and an anchor tower extending from the base of the tool in the same direction as the tool that is positioned for nozzle release, so that the anchor tower may provide rotational fixation of the valve body while torque is applied to the nozzle, along with a manner to employ coordinatedly sized and positioned gears, which in combination multiply the leverage force or torque input into the tool for application to the rotational disconnection effort.
Press-fit installation tool with dynamic load assist and method of press-fitting
A tool has a biased piston, a plunger, and a base contained in a tool body. The plunger is positioned between the biased piston and the base and in contact with the base. A tool head is fixed to the base and extends outside of the tool body. The tool body is configured to be movable along a longitudinal axis relative to the base and plunger to move the plunger to load the piston when a load is applied to the tool body along a first load path. The tool body, the base, and the biased piston are configured to align the plunger with the longitudinal axis only when the load applied along the first load path is at least a first predetermined load, and thereby release stored energy of the piston as a dynamic load applied to the tool head along a second load path.
Saw buck with log sizing template
A saw buck has a template for cutting lumber into various desired length pieces. The saw buck uses a pair of front legs each attached to a respective one of a pair of back legs in A-framed configuration with a plate attached to each back leg. The plate has one or more notches and has two or more cradles attached thereto, either between and end of the plate and a notch or between notches. At least some of the log cradles are of different lengths relative to one another and at least some may move laterally relative to one another. A rope if provided for lumber securement.
Ventilation system for tile roofs
A ridge vent for tile roofs is provided having a vent strip located on each side of a roof ridge. The ridge vent includes a center water dam having a centering portion and two leg portions, with the centering portion being located over a ridge board. The vent strips includes a vent material, formed from a non-woven mat, including a first surface, which matches a surface of the tile roof, and a second surface. An upper water barrier is attached to the second surface of at least one of the vent strips and extends over the roof ridge. The ridge vent is rollable and can be provided as one piece or as separate components.

Fixtures for pipe installation, sealing and security
These fixtures aid in installing, sealing and securing pipe. Specifically, the invention aids in mating bell & spigot joints and securely capping open pipe ends of standard polyvinyl chloride (PVC), polyethylene (PE), and acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene (ABS) pipe products as well as non-plastic piping by enabling equalized full circumference pressure on pipe ends to nudge, seal and/or secure pipe ends during installation or decommissioning.
