Multilayer coil component and electronic device
In an exemplary embodiment, a multilayer coil component includes: a substrate body; and a coil embedded in the substrate body and containing a wound conductor; wherein the substrate body has: magnetic layers containing multiple metal magnetic grains, provided around conductor layers that constitute parts of the wound conductor in a direction roughly orthogonal to the coil axis of the coil; and multiple high-hardness insulating grains harder than the multiple metal magnetic grains and smaller in average grain size than the multiple metal magnetic grains, provided between a pair of the conductor layers adjacent to each other in the direction of the coil axis and also between a pair of the magnetic layers adjacent to each other in the direction of the coil axis. The multilayer coil component can prevent shorting in the wound conductor while increasing the inductance.
Extraction system and apparatus and method thereof
In accordance with embodiments of the invention there is provided an extraction system, and extraction apparatus (30) and method therefore in for removing studs from sockets. The system is particularly advantageous for removing one or more studs (28) from the sockets (24) of bell cranks (16) of steering systems of vehicles such as an Off-highway Truck. In a particular arrangement the apparatus (30) comprises a frame member (32) adapted to be attached to a pivot joint (14) for extraction of the stud (28) from the socket (16). Furthermore, the apparatus 30 comprises actuator means (34) adapted to be selectively displaced between an extended condition and a contracted condition for applying a force to the stud (28) so as extract or at least loosen the stud (28) from the socket (36). In a particular arrangement, the actuator (34) comprises a hydraulic actuator. The system is adapted to remotely operate the extraction apparatus (30).

A robot vision-based automatic rivet placement system and method. The automatic rivet placement system includes: an industrial robot installed on a frame, a multi-functional end effector, a rivet blowing mechanism, a detection disk, and a rivet holding tray. The multi-functional end effector consists of a flange disk, a support frame, an industrial CCD camera, a laser displacement sensor, a spring, a mixing rod, and a vacuum nozzle. The multi-functional end effector is connected to a terminal end of the industrial robot via the flange disk. The industrial CCD camera is installed directly in front of the support frame, and is used to acquire a rivet image and measure a rivet parameter. The laser displacement sensor is installed at a side surface of the support frame, and is used to measure a rivet depth.

A fastening apparatus includes: a plurality of fastening tools; a first movement mechanism configured to rotate the plurality of fastening tools in a circumferential direction; a second movement mechanism configured to rectilinearly move the plurality of fastening tools in a radial direction; and a third movement mechanism configured to rectilinearly move the plurality of fastening tools in a vertical direction. In particular, the first movement mechanism includes a closed-curve guide unit having a closed-curve shape and configured to define a route along which the plurality of fastening tools rotates in the circumferential direction.

The invention relates to attachments for industrial robotic equipment and in particular relates to screw driver attachments for standalone or collaborative robots. A screwdriver apparatus for a robotic arm is provided, the apparatus being suitable for installing screws of a known pitch into a component, the apparatus comprising a screw driving tool having a shaft rotatable about a central axis, the shaft having a distal end with a tip suitable for engaging with a screw, the shaft further having a proximal end connected to both a tool rotation apparatus and a tool linear movement apparatus, wherein the tool rotation apparatus and the tool linear movement apparatus are arranged to cooperate such that the tool tip is maintained at a constant pre-defined distance in relation to the screw when in use.
TOUCHLESS FLUSHING SYSTEMS AND METHODS
A touchless actuation system for a toilet includes a touchless sensor, a motor assembly, and a processing circuit. The touchless sensor is located within a closed reservoir of the toilet. The processing circuit is configured to receive a signal from the touchless sensor and to detect an object within a detection region based on the signal. The detection region is external to the closed reservoir. The processing circuit is configured to facilitate flushing of the toilet through interaction with the motor assembly when the object is detected.

A touchless actuation system for a toilet includes a touchless sensor, a motor assembly, and a processing circuit. The touchless sensor is located within a closed reservoir of the toilet. The processing circuit is configured to receive a signal from the touchless sensor and to detect an object within a detection region based on the signal. The detection region is external to the closed reservoir. The processing circuit is configured to facilitate flushing of the toilet through interaction with the motor assembly when the object is detected.
