Gig with multiple spear head assemblies attached to a stringer
A gig comprises a shaft; a spear head assembly comprising: a spear shaft; one or more spear prongs located at a first end of the spear shaft; and a ring, wherein the ring is secured to the spear shaft; and a stringer, wherein the stringer is removably or slidably connected to the ring. There can be more than one spear head assembly that can be used to spear more than one fish. Each of the spear head assemblies can be connected to the stringer via the rings whereby the fish can remain in the water until such time as it is desired to remove the fish. At that point, a person can simply draw the stringer towards them in order to retrieve the fish.

Method of using a shark repellent system
A rod for repelling sharks is disclosed. Magnets are connected to the rod along its length. If necessary, the rod may be extended. Additionally, one or more flotation devices may be connected to the rod to manipulate or adjust the buoyancy of the system, depending on the user's objective(s). The rod is connected to a fishing line once a fish is hooked and is in close proximity to the boat or other structure from which the fisherman is fishing. The weight of the rod and magnets cause the rod to slide down to the end of the fishing line, where the rod will come in contact with the hooked mouth of the fish. As the fish struggles during the fight, the rod creates a protective magnetic field around the fish to deter sharks from engaging the fish.

CULLING CLIP AND SYSTEM FOR USE THEREWITH
A culling clip is for use with fish. The culling clip includes a culling clip body, lower clamp arm, an upper clamp arm and a locking mechanism. The culling clip body has an open position and a closed position. The culling clip body includes an upper arm and a lower arm spaced therefrom. The lower clamp arm extends inwardly from the end for the lower arm and has a lower clamp arm distal end. The upper clamp arm extends inwardly from the end of the upper clamp arm and has an upper clamp arm distal end. The lower clamp arm distal end is spaced from the upper clamp arm distal end when the culling clip body is in the closed position. The locking mechanism is for holding the culling clip body in the closed position. The culling clip is considered in the no-harm non-penetrating category of culling clips.

Fish stringer assembly
A stringer assembly for the safe storage of fish caught by a fisherman includes a stringer line having a needle, a floatation device, and a holder. The stringer assembly is configured to prevent the pushing of slack in the line in a manner to dislodge the stringer line. Additionally, the stringer line is secured without clamping or tying of the stringer line. The holder is releasably coupled to a water vessel through an attachment device configured to prevent twisting of the stringer line. The needle is inserted into a portion of the holder and the stringer line is routed under a flange of the holder in a manner that binds or wedges the stringer line to the holder and prevents removal of the needle from within the holder. Because no fasteners are needed, a fisherman is capable of operating the assembly with a single hand.

Deepwater fish release device
An apparatus for releasing a fish into deep water, comprising a central member having an upper end portion and a lower end portion, a spiral member attached to the central member, the spiral member being spaced away from the central member and having a free end, a plurality of swivels, wherein one of the swivels can be connected the upper end portion of the central member and another of said swivels can be connected to the lower end portion of the central member, and a weight connected to the lower swivel. The device can further provide a weight on the central member that overcomes buoyancy of the fish.
