COUNTERBALANCE SYSTEM FOR UPPER HORIZONTAL SURFACE DRILLING OPERATIONS
A counterbalance system employs one or more springs to support a large motor drill on an upper horizontal work surface, for example on the tops of drill jigs or bushings. The counterbalance system supports the drill above the work surface where the counterbalance system can slide across the work surface to selectively position the drill over a drill bushing through which a drilling operation is to be performed. A user of the drill supported on the counterbalance system can then push downwardly on the drill to compress the spring and perform a drilling operation. On removal of the downward directed force exerted by the user of the drill, the spring pushes the drill upwardly to disengage the drill from the work surface. The user of the counterbalance system can then slide the counterbalance system and the drill across the top of the work surface.
STUD NOTCHING SYSTEM
A notch cutting system includes a cutter guide that connects to a workpiece and establishes a cutting path for notching the workpiece. A notch cutter with a cylindrical cutting element engages the cutter guide. A rotary driver rotates the cutting element to remove workpiece material as the notch cutter traverses the aperture and the notch cutting system cuts a full-radius notch in the workpiece along the cutting path
Machine tool comprising a longitudinal rail and a transverse arm
A machine tool adapted to perform operations, for example, machining, on a surface of a part of large size is provided. The machine tool comprises a longitudinal rail and a transverse arm, orthogonal to the longitudinal rail, slidingly fastened at a first end to the longitudinal rail. A second end of the transverse arm is provided with a unit comprising a holding device enabling the unit to be held in position on the part during an operation. The transverse arm bearing a tool is thus precisely positioned on the part on which the operations are carried out.
Electromagnetic base for magnetic drill press
A magnetic base for coupling a drill press to a ferromagnetic workpiece includes a ferromagnetic body having spaced, substantially parallel first and second rails. Each of the first and second rails includes a flat bottom surface engageable with the ferromagnetic workpiece. A coil is positioned between the first and second rails for generating a holding force on the ferromagnetic workpiece. The coil defines a central axis that is parallel with the bottom surface of each of the first and second rails.
MACHINE TOOL
A machine tool includes a frame with two opposite frame sections, a number of leg elements arranged on the frame, and a first carriage having a first linear axis. The first carriage is guided on the two opposite sections of the frame and is displaceable in a first direction. A second carriage of a second linear axis is guided on the first carriage and is displaceable in a second direction A tower element has a third linear axis, which is retained on the second carriage. A machining element is retained on the tower element and is displaceable in a third direction, and a tool spindle is arranged on the machining element for receiving a tool.
Hand-Held Power Tool, Edge Guide and Tool System
A hand-held power tool, in particular a router, includes a machine housing and a support device for guiding the hand-held power tool on a workpiece. The support device has a carrier element, in which the machine housing is at least partially received and fastened. A foot plate which allows an insert tool, in particular a milling tool, to pass through and which is designed to bear against a workpiece is fastened to an end flange of the carrier element facing away from the machine housing. An edge guide for guiding the hand-held power tool along an edge of the workpiece is fastenable to the end flange of the carrier element. A groove is formed in the end flange. A fastening portion of a holding arm of the edge guide can be received interlockingly in the groove and can be fastened by means of at least one fastening element.
Multifunctional base for power router and other tools
A multifunctional base for a router is provided to allow precise and repeatable cuts through the use of a set of adjustable fences, template guides and bushings. The base has reference surfaces to allow precision cuts at set distances from a fence or template.
Mortise cutting jig and router guidance system for wood working
A wood working jig includes a fixed clamp plate positionable on a first side of a work piece and having a fixed top channel. The wood working jig includes a movable clamp plate positionable on a second side of the work piece opposite to the first side and having a movable top channel. The fixed and the movable clamp plates configured to be clamped to the work piece with wood clamps. The wood working jig includes a first and a second stop each engageable between the fixed and the movable top channels. The wood working jig includes a slide black (plate) having first and second guide blocks that each engage a selected one of the fixed and the movable top channels to guide translation of a router opening in the slide plate between the first and second stops.
Installation comprising an articulated arm and a machine tool, and corresponding machining method
A machining apparatus is borne by an articulated arm and includes: a casing defining an opening to be placed by the articulated arm in a machining position so the opening faces the surface to be machined; at least three bearers attached to the casing to rest against the surface to be machined in the machining position; an attachment system fixing the casing to the surface to be machined; at least one support mounted to move with respect to the casing, and a machine-tool mounted on the support; and at least one position sensor providing position parameters representing a relative position of the surface to be machined with respect to the casing. Also included is a control system operating the support and to move the machine-tool with respect to the casing according to a movement instruction, the control system being designed to calculate the movement instruction using the position parameters.
Portable manual vertical milling key duplicating machine
A portable manual vertical milling key duplicating machine comprising a body, a main axis component, a guide component, a clamping component, a feeding component, a power storage unit, a display unit and an electric control unit. This solution provides a pre-positioned precise guide mechanism and an adjustable handrail and is capable of improving the precision of key processing in multiple aspects and increasing stability during key processing. It has a compact structure with an upper/lower separate two-way sliding table configuration, thereby substantially reducing the machine size, and the body is divided into three areas, thereby ensuring good protection.
