20180249691 · 2018-09-06 ·

A fishing tool floating rope. The module stringing core strings a plurality of floating elements at equal intervals. Each floating element has a main body with two ends connected to a neck portion and terminal portion. The neck portion has a radial cross-sectional size less than that of the main body and terminal portion. A covering woven rope is interlaced to cover the module stringing core. The modular snap fastener has a bendable line and plurality of hollow snap fastening members connected to two ends of the bendable line. Each hollow snap fastening member has a U-shaped gap snap fastening slot configured to fit the neck portion. The floating element and modular snap fastener can be quickly assembled to form a string of the module stringing core serving as a center line of circular knitting machine to produce the fishing tool floating rope.

Collapsible Floating Fishing Net
20170118966 · 2017-05-04 ·

A stowable, collapsible floating waterproof fishing net that may be employed at the surface of a body of water to retain marine life, or any article in the water, adjacent and outside of a water craft, vessel or person. It has a flexible, upper floatable ring that forms a concave well below the surface with the attached fabric. The ring twistably contorts or coils and stacks upon itself going from a hoop to a stacked coil configuration, so as to reduce the volume of the net when collapsed, approximately 50 fold from its enclosable, opened volume and its surface area by more than 12 fold. It generally utilizes an opaque fabric flange extending from the floatable ring into the concave well to obstruct the entrapped marine life's vision and the diffracted surface light so as to drive the marine life to the bottom of the well, therein reducing their opportunity to escape by leaping over the ring.

The present invention is a hoop net comprised of netting mounted to two or more semicircular tubular rods, forming a ring that maintains its shape and structural integrity. The two semicircular tubular rods are fashioned to connect seamlessly by a fastening means that allows the entire assembly to function as intended. The hoop net assembly includes four stabilizing cords positioned equidistant from each other along the ring, which cords converge at the center of the hoop net assembly and are connected to each other by a fastening means, then further connected to a single draw cord. The draw cord is used to cast the assembled hoop net into water to a desired depth and pulled back into the boat with live bait. Once the hoop net assembly has been used, the metal rods are easily disconnected to facilitate folding the hoop net in half for easy storage and portability.
