ANALYSIS APPARATUS AND ANALYSIS SYSTEM
To provide an analysis apparatus capable of improving the accuracy of analysis results. An analysis apparatus makes predictions about the quality of conditions of a production facility or the quality of conditions of a production object in a process of producing a crankshaft as the production object by a grinder as the production facility. The analysis apparatus includes the plurality of predictors making predictions about the quality by using different analysis methods based on data concerning the production facility, a selection unit selecting the plurality of predictors in use from the plurality of predictors, and an overall predictor calculating a comprehensive prediction result about the quality based on the plurality of prediction results obtained by the plurality of predictors in use selected by the selection unit.
Single setup shaper sander
A single station shaper sander that uses a quick change retractable shaper and a quick change retractable profile sander is described. The shaper generates a profile in a substrate, and then the sander sands the profile in the substrate without intermediate removal of the substrate. Both the shaper and sander are retractable, moving away from the substrate when retracted, and are moved into contact with the substrate when engaged. Either an operator or automatic controls may be used to engage and retract the shaper or sander, so as to minimize operator access to dangerous moving surfaces on either. Further, each sander or shaper may have removable tools that are temporarily affixed to a spindle, affording tool changes of 15 seconds or less.
Size-adjustable adaptive online wheel deburring device
A size-adjustable adaptive online wheel deburring device, including a synchronous clamping and rotating system, a left brush system, and a right brush system. The synchronous clamping and rotating system enables the wheel to rotate in a clamped state; the servo electric cylinders and a servo motor adjust the left working wheel, the left adjusting wheel, the right adjusting wheel and the other left working wheel to respective corresponding positions, and adapt the shape of a belt-type brush to a back cavity shape and the radius of the wheel; other servo electric cylinders can adjust the positions of the right working wheel and right working wheel according to the back cavity shape and the size of the wheel, another servo electric cylinder can remove the burrs on the flange root corners and rim root corners of the wheel by adjusting the angle of the right brush system.
Railroad track tool apparatus
The present disclosure relates to a railroad track tool apparatus. The apparatus comprises a tool configured to perform an operation to the rail of the railroad track, a clamp assembly, and a coupling. The clamp assembly is moveable between a clamped position and an unclamped position to removably couple the tool with the rail. The clamp assembly is moveable along the rail. The coupling is configured to couple the tool to the clamp assembly. The coupling comprises a pivot, a linkage assembly comprising an arm coupled to the pivot, and a head coupled to the linkage assembly. The coupling is configured such that the tool is moveable between an inner side and an outer side of the rail, rotatable toward and away from the inner side or the outer side of the rail, and rotatable toward and away from an underside of the rail.
Method of machining a shroud and grinding wheel therefor
A method of machining a turbine shroud segment including inserting an annular flange of a grinding wheel through a first gap defined between the shroud retention elements and into a second gap defined between the shroud platform and an axially extending, radially inwardly facing arcuate inner surface of one of the retention elements. The wheel flange is inserted with its supporting leg and the wheel body remaining out of contact with the shroud segment and with the wheel flange remaining out of contact with the platform. The inner surface is ground through contact with an annular outer grinding surface of the wheel flange. The wheel leg and body remain out of contact with the shroud segment and the wheel flange remains out of contact with the platform during grinding.
COMPOSITE WHEEL DEBURRING DEVICE
The present invention relates to a composite wheel deburring device, which is composed of a stand, servo motors, guide rails, a brush system I, a brush system II, and a synchronous clamping rotary system. During use, emphasis treatment can be performed on the rim corner burrs at the roots of the flanges of the wheel with various shapes and the rim corner burrs at the roots of the wheel rims.

ABRASIVE FILM
An abrasive film capable of preventing an undercut of an optical fiber after polishing, while providing a great grinding force is provided. An abrasive film includes a substrate and an abrasive layer overlaid on a top face side thereof, the abrasive layer including a resin binder and abrasive particles dispersed in the resin binder; the content of abrasive particles having a primary particle size of no less than 70 nm being no less than 10% by mass and no greater than 50% by mass with respect to the total abrasive particles; the content of the abrasive particles in the abrasive layer being no less than 84% by mass; and the indentation hardness of the abrasive layer being no greater than 370 N/mm.sup.2. The abrasive particles are preferably silica particles. An average thickness of the abrasive layer is preferably no less than 4 m and no greater than 15 m.
Repair tool for a turbine rotor wheel, and a turbine rotor wheel
A process of preparing a turbine rotor wheel, a repair tool for machining a turbine rotor wheel, and a turbine rotor wheel are disclosed. The process includes providing the turbine rotor wheel, the turbine rotor wheel having a dovetail slot, a cooling slot, and a dovetail acute corner formed by the dovetail slot and the cooling slot and removing a stress region from the dovetail acute corner. The repair tool permits removal of strained material while also reducing the operating stress of the feature. The turbine rotor wheel includes a machined portion resulting in lower stress for the turbine rotor wheel.
Method for Detecting And/Or Preventing Grind Burn
The present invention provides a method of detecting and preventing grind burn from developing on a gear. The method includes performing acoustic emission testing while the gear is being ground during a grinding operation. The grinding wheel is evaluated during an eddy current test to detect material buildup on the grinding wheel which could cause grind burn. In addition, the method includes collecting swarf from the gear during the grinding operation and inspecting the swarf for an indication of grind burn.
