FISHING DEVICES AND METHODS
A fishing device includes a net disposed in a body of water containing fishes. A plurality of posts, wherein each post further includes a stem, a bottom cross disposed at a lower portion of the stem; a cross bar disposed at a top end of the stem; and a cord. The stem is an upright elongated protrusion extending from under a bottom to above a surface of the body of water. The cord is slidably secured to the cross bar. A first end of the cord is secured to a weight. A second end of the cord is secured to the net. The fishing device includes a release mechanism. The release mechanism grabs a portion of the cord to hold the weight in a first position adjacent to the cross bar. A bait system is disposed at or adjacent to a center of the net.
LEAD-FREE COPPER-ZINC ALLOY THAT CAN WITHSTAND THE MARINE ENVIRONMENT
The invention provides a copper-zinc alloy with low lead content useful in the manufacture of wire used in the manufacture of cages for aquaculture, where said wire suffers the least deterioration due to loss of zinc during exposure to stagnant water, water of little movement or sea waters.

Apparatus for harvesting lionfish
Embodiments of the present invention relate to an apparatus for capturing lionfish near the ocean floor. The present invention uses two jaws connected at the center by an axle such that the jaws open outward on contact with the seabed to form a ring supporting a loose netting. Embodiments of the present invention further include a deflector located on each jaw that facilitates opening of the jaws when the lionfish capture device contacts the ocean floor. A fish attraction device, or devices, located at substantially the center of the lionfish capture device is capable of attracting lionfish to an area defined by the ring formed by the jaws. Hauling of the capture device causes the jaws to close around and secure the fish that are within its perimeter.

Alligator Fishing Accessories
The present disclosure provides a snag hook comprising a hook comprising at least one hook bend and barb; and a body, wherein the body is coated with a plurality of coating materials, wherein a first coating material is an opaque base powder coat material and a second coating material is a clear powder coat material mixed with a luminescent material or agent. In an alternate embodiment, the present disclosure provides a quick release snare comprising a handle; and a cable portion, wherein the cable portion further comprises a loop generating element.
Handheld crabtrap system
A handheld crabtrap for catching crabs includes a shaft having a handle with a lever on a proximal end, a trap head with a lid at a distal end of the shaft, and a linkage within the shaft attached to the lever and the trap head. The handle further includes a crab alert bell attached to a cable that also extends to and into the trap head, where it ends in a clip to which the crabber's bait is attached. The trap head is held open via the linkage and lever until a crab pulls on the bait ringing the bell and alerting a crabber to pull on the lever and close the trap head via a string therebetween.
Underwater mobile body and non-transitory computer readable medium
An underwater mobile body includes: a movement control unit that controls movement underwater; a detection unit that moves underwater under the control of the movement control unit and that detects a position of a fish; and a guidance unit that guides the fish based on the position of the fish detected by the detection unit.
