Fishing Net with Magnetic Clasp System
A kit for making an improved fishing net is disclosed that incorporates a magnetic clasp system into its structure. The kit introduces a medallion containing a magnet having a force of attraction of at least 1.8 kilograms attached to a bottom portion of any fishing net. Iron or magnet in any form, be it solid, powder or liquid, is inserted within the fishing net pole at a location where the medallion is located when holding the fishing net vertically with the net up, so that the magnetic force of the magnet(s) and/or iron causes the net to connect to the pole.

NET REPAIR PATCH LATCHING UNIT AND A SYSTEM FOR A NET PATCHING
A net repair patch latching unit comprising one or more carabiners. The carabiner of the net repair patch latching unit comprises at least one load-bearing section; a spine and a forepart; one or more first grooves configured to accommodate a yarn of the net to be repaired; at least one elongated bendable part having a distal end and a proximal end. The elongated bendable part comprises at least one transitional bending area connecting the spine and the proximal end of the at least one bendable part; one or more guiding nudges protruding from the load-bearing section; one or more attaching element protruding from the load-bearing section.
Net assembly used for purse seine fishery
A net assembly used for purse seine fishery, which is mounted on a first vessel, dropped into seawater from the first vessel, and towed by a second vessel to surround and pull fish to capture fish. The net assembly includes a plurality of floats floating on a surface of seawater to provide buoyancy to the net assembly, and coupled to one another in a spaced manner in a lengthwise direction of the net assembly; a net combination of a plurality of nets disposed under the floats in an inter-coupled state, and sunken and deployed from the surface of seawater to surround and capture fish; a weight body extending along a lower end of the net combination to provide a sinking force by means of gravity to sink the net combination; and a purse wire extending along the net combination while being spaced apart from the weight body in a downward direction, and tightened by the first vessel to allow the net assembly to form a closed space below the surface of seawater.

Rope severing device
A rope severing device for cutting a rope after a continued compressive force is disclosed. The rope severing device includes a housing having a base and a top and the top is movably mounted to the base such that the top can move axially with respect to the base. A blade is positioned at least partially within the housing and fixedly mounted with respect to the base. In some embodiments, an elastic member is positioned inside the housing in contact with the base and a damper is attached to the base to dampen relative movement of the top and the base. Upon application of a compressive force to the housing, the top moves toward the base and the blade is at least partially exposed through an opening in the top to sever a rope attached to the rope severing device.
Vessel mounted artemia harvest device
A device mounted to a vessel for harvesting a subsurface concentration of artemia cysts. In certain embodiments, the device includes a vertically adjustable front net support, a vertically adjustable rear net support and a net having a first end secured to the front net support and a second end secured to the rear net support. A conduit can be coupled to the second end of the net whereby the concentrated artemia cysts are drawn from the second end of net to a processing destination. In certain embodiments, the net has an aspect ratio of at least approximately 4:1. The processing destination could be the vessel or some other destination. In certain embodiments, the vessels are equipped with a dewatering station to which the concentrated cysts are directed for further processing. In some embodiments, the net is secured to a frame which is in turn coupled to the front net support. The front net support can include one or more arms. In certain embodiments, the front net support includes a brace which can be attached to the vessel. The brace can include one more sleeves that correspond to the one or more arms and be hingedly attached to the vessel.
