Apparatus, and associated method, for protectively supporting an object

A protective support device for supporting an object, such as a pilot's helmet, protectively encloses and supports the object. The device includes an inner shell formed of a compressive material and of an inflatable bladder. The inner shell is positioned within an outer shell, such as a bag formed of a cloth, or other, material. An object to be supported is placed within the inner shell, and the inflatable bladder of the inner shell is inflated. Inflation of the inner shell encloses and surrounds the object.

A lifting assembly and method for a flexible bag includes one or more lift members, wherein each lift member is coupled to a layer of material, e.g., a fabric layer. The fabric layer can be coupled to a flexible bag wherein the fabric layer is an intermediate layer between the lift member and the flexible bag. The fabric layer can be heat fused or otherwise coupled to a bag without stitching or sewing, which eliminates the creation of sew or stitch holes that breach a containment area of the bag and which can weaken the bag fabric. The one or more lift members, however, can be sewn or stitched to one or more intermediate layers.

Paper and cardboard packaging with barrier coating

Described is paper or cardboard packaging produced from mineral oil contaminated, (e.g., recycled) paper, wherein the packaging includes a barrier layer obtainable by applying an aqueous polymer dispersion comprising a copolymer obtainable by emulsion polymerization of C.sub.1-C.sub.4 alkyl (meth)acrylates, acid monomers, e.g., acrylic acid or methacrylic acid, 0-20 wt % of acrylonitrile and 0 to 10 wt % of further monomers in an aqueous medium in the presence of a carbohydrate compound, preferably in the form of a degraded starch, wherein the glass transition temperature of the copolymer is in the range from +10 to +45 C. The barrier layer may be situated on one of the surfaces of the packaging or form one of multiple layers of a multilayered packaging coating or be situated as a coating on one side of an inner bag situated within the packaging.

Disclosed is a foldable and sealable packaging bag, including one piece of packaging bag sheet, which divided into a first bag sheet and a second bag sheet. Both sides of the first and second bag sheet are provided with connecting ends, by means of the connecting ends, the first and second bag sheet are connected to form a containing cavity. The first bag sheet and the second bag sheet are formed by folding one piece of material sheet. The first bag sheet and the second bag sheets are connected hermetically to form a containing cavity that can accommodate various items, and the opening is sealed by a sealable part. The structure of the packaging bag in this embodiment is simple, convenient for production, and can reduces the waste of raw material sheet.

A liquid supply apparatus is configured to have detachably installed therein a liquid container 51 including an ink bag 82 that is flexible at least in part and a flow channel member 91 that is in communication with the ink bag 82, and to supply a liquid held in the ink bag 82 to a liquid jet apparatus. The liquid supply apparatus includes an ink inlet portion 143 configured to be connected to the flow channel member 91 and to introduce liquid from the flow channel member 91 in a state where the flow channel member 91 is connected, and a first supporting portion 151 configured to support at least the flow channel member 91 of the ink container 51. The first supporting portion 151 is moveable between at least a connected position and a disconnected position of the flow channel member 91 and the ink inlet portion 143.

Bag expanders

The expander includes side walls positionable against a bag interior, members articularly connected together and to the side walls, and an arcuate enabling diamond shaped mechanism connected between the members and the side walls to provide a selected expanding and contracting amongst the members and the side walls. The members are in a folded condition when the bag is compressed and, with the aid of an expansion motivator such as a rubber band, spring and the like, the bag is expanded to its deployed condition.

For example, the system generally includes a tube having a tubular wall forming a through-channel between a first end of the tube and a second end of the tube. The tubular wall includes at least a first portion with a first amount of pliability and a second portion with a second amount of pliability, which is less than the first portion. The first and second portions may be arranged or located such that the when the tube is shortened, such as by pulling a draw cord positioned in the through-channel, the tubular wall folds or bends at the first portion having a higher amount of pliability than the second portion.

The present invention relates to wood log packaging and carrying bags. A bag comprises a bag panel (1) having a bottom panel (A), two first side panels (B), and two second side panels (C). The bottom panel (A) has four sides (A3). The bottom panel (A) with its four sides (A3) is permanently joined to the two first side panels (B) and two second side panels (C) and this joint area is also a folding area. Each first side panel (B) and second side panel (C) comprises a through hole (2). The bag comprises a belt (3) attached to the bag panel (1) in the area where the side panels (B) are joined to the bottom panel (A) and configured to be extended through said through holes (2) to firmly hold all four side panels (B; C).
