GENERATING PERFORMANCE ASSESSMENT FROM HUMAN AND VIRTUAL HUMAN PATIENT CONVERSATION DYADS DURING STANDARDIZED PATIENT ENCOUNTER
An artificial intelligence machine may quickly generate a comprehensive virtual patient interview database based on limited input from a case author. The comprehensive virtual patient interview database may include a list of topics and a set of items. Each item may be related in the database to one of the topics and may include one or more questions and one or more patient responses to each question. The artificial intelligence machine may include a data storage system that stores a universal medical taxonomy database that includes a list of topics and a set of items, each item being related in the database to one of the topics and including one or more questions and one or more default responses to each question; a user interface for receiving the limited input from the case author, the limited input including descriptive attributes of a real or fictitious patient; and a data processing system that includes one or more processors and that generates the comprehensive virtual patient interview database by modifying one or more of the default responses in the universal medical taxonomy database based on the descriptive attributes.
Systems and Methods for Response Prediction to Chemotherapy in High Grade Bladder Cancer
Contemplated systems and methods allow for prediction of chemotherapy outcome for patients diagnosed with high-grade bladder cancer. In particularly preferred aspects, the prediction is performed using a model based on machine learning wherein the model has a minimum predetermined accuracy gain and wherein a thusly identified model provides the identity and weight factors for omics data used in the outcome prediction.
MEDICAL LABELING APPARATUS WITH DRUG INFORMATION
Provided is a labeling apparatus that generates a label for labeling a drug container at a healthcare facility. The labeling apparatus includes a code reader that reads a computer-readable code encoding a drug to be stored by the drug container and transmits a signal indicative of the identity of the drug in response to reading the computer-readable code. A non-transitory computer-readable memory stores a drug formulary comprising a plurality of drug entries. A processing component is configured to identify, from the formulary, the identity of the drug corresponding to the computer-readable code and receives a patient identity from a computer-accessible source. A printer is operable to print label content identifying the specific drug onto a label that is to be applied to the drug container. The label content includes the identity of the drug and the patient identity encoded by a label code that is computer-readable.
DEVICES WHICH PROMPT DIVERSE BRAIN STATES TO UPGRADE BRAIN PERFORMANCE
An electronic device that includes an electronic calendar containing scheduled events, the device further including a) software that matches an event with an optimal brain state, and b) means for convening to the user of the device such optimal brain state when the calendar indicates that the event is imminent or has arrived.
ITERATIVE VISUALIZATION OF A COHORT FOR WEIGHTED HIGH-DIMENSIONAL CATEGORICAL DATA
Visualization of a cohort for high-dimensional categorical data is disclosed. One example is a system including a display module to identify real-time selection of a query data element in an interactive visual representation of high-dimensional categorical data elements comprising a plurality of categorical components. A matrix generator generates a binary distance matrix with columns representing categorical components, and entries in a row indicative of a degree of similarity of respective categorical components of the selected query data element to a data element represented by the row, and determines a category weighting matrix by associating a weight with entries in each column of the binary distance matrix. An evaluator evaluates a weighted similarity score for a data element represented by a row of the category weighting matrix based on entries of the row. A selector iteratively and interactively selects, based on weighted similarity scores, a cohort of categorical data elements.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR ADJUSTING EVENT TIMESTAMP RELATING TO CLINICAL TRIAL
A computer implemented method includes receiving an event log corresponding to event entries of an electronic diary of a participant of a clinical trial, wherein the event log is generated in a client device, and the event log includes an event identifier and an event timestamp for at least two event entries; determining a block of event entries within the event log, the block including a first event entry and a second event entry at least one of whose event timestamps are verified being correct in view of corresponding service timestamps of a server apparatus, wherein the first and the second event entry are arranged chronologically; and adjusting the event timestamp of the second event entry based on the first timestamp.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR INFORMATION ANALYSIS
In item mapping information, each of a plurality of first items amongst a plurality of items included in a patient database is mapped to, amongst the plurality of items, one or more different items whose registered data entries have relationships with data entries registered under the first item. Based on the item mapping information, a computing unit identifies one or more third items having relationships with a second item designated amongst the first items. The computing unit performs an evaluation of the degree of similarity between a particular patient information record registering therein data entries associated with a particular patient under the plurality of items and each of a plurality of patient information records by using only the third items or the second and third items as comparison targets, and outputs the result of the evaluation.
AUTOMATED AUTOPSY SYSTEM
A medical navigation system is provided for performing at least part of an assessment of a non-living body. The medical navigation system comprises a positioning device having a positioning arm with an end effector at the end of the positioning arm, an imaging device coupled to the end effector, and a controller electrically coupled to the positioning device and the imaging device. The controller has a processor coupled to a memory and a display. The controller is configured to generate a signal to move the positioning arm to position the imaging device through a range of motion to perform a scan of a surface of the body and receive and save as data in the memory signals generated by the imaging device during the range of motion.
ANALYSIS SYSTEM AND ANALYSIS METHOD
An analysis system, which includes a processor and a memory connected with the processor, further includes: a model applying unit that predicts at least one change among changes between the conditions of target persons in the case of an intervention not being followed and the conditions of the target persons in the case of the intervention being followed with reference to the health checkup information, the medical information, and the clinical condition transition models; and a simulation unit that predicts medical care expenses using the conditions predicted by the model applying unit, and calculates the medical care expense of a group to which the target persons belong by aggregating the predicted medical care expenses of the individual target persons. In addition the simulation unit outputs screen data used for displaying the calculated medical care expense of the group.
EMOTION ANALYSIS METHOD AND ELECTRONIC APPARATUS THEREOF
An emotion analysis method and an electronic apparatus thereof are provided. The emotion analysis method is adapted to the electronic apparatus having a database or connected to the database in order to analyze an emotion of an examinee. The emotion analysis method includes: obtaining a heart rate signal of the examinee; defining a plurality of candidate emotions from the database; analyzing the heart rate signal to obtain a plurality of target emotion parameters; and analyzing the target emotion parameters to determine one of the candidate emotions corresponding to the heart rate signal by applying an emotion analysis model.
