System for leveling particulate material
A particulate material leveling system includes an agitating system disposed within a storage tank for a particulate material. The agitating system includes a drive system and a shaft coupled to the drive system. Further, the drive system drives the shaft to rotate about a central axis. The agitating system also includes a wrapped wire coupled to the shaft. The wrapped wire extends around the shaft along a helical path in an axial direction and a circumferential direction, and the wrapped wire moves the particulate material in the axial direction in response to rotation of the shaft in a first direction about the central axis.
MIXING CAPSULE, IN PARTICULAR FOR THE FIELD OF DENTISTRY
The invention relates to a mixing capsule (1) comprising a first chamber (2) to receive a composition A and a second chamber (3) to receive a composition B, characterised in that the first chamber (2) and the second chamber (3) are arranged rotatably about the longitudinal axis (5) of the mixing capsule (1), the first chamber (2) comprising a first opening (25), the second chamber (3) comprising a second opening (26), the first opening (25) and the second opening (26) being arranged perpendicularly to the longitudinal axis (5) and plan-parallelly to each other and/or perpendicularly spaced, the first opening (25) and the second opening (26) being arranged incongruently to each other in a storage position (4), the first opening (25) and the second opening (26) being arranged congruently to each other in a handling position (6). Furthermore, the invention relates to a method for mixing at least two compositions A and B to a composition C in a mixing capsule and to a use of the mixing capsule.
Gas-dissolved liquid producing apparatus
A gas-dissolved liquid producing apparatus capable of increasing a gas dissolution efficiency and enhancing stability of the concentration of gas-dissolved liquid is provided. The gas-dissolved producing apparatus 1 includes an ozone gas supply unit 2 for supplying ozone gas, a pure water supply unit 3 for supplying pure water, and an ozonated water generator 4 for dissolving ozone gas in supplied pure water to generate ozonated water. The generator 4 includes a first nozzle 10 having a first optimum flow rate, a second nozzle 11 having a second optimum flow rate different from the first optimum flow rate, a flow rate detector 15 for detecting the flow rate of the supplied pure water, and a controller 16 for controlling which one of the first nozzle and the second nozzle should be supplied with the supplied gas, based on the flow rate of the pure water detected by the detector 15.
Adjustable venturi
Adjustable venturi assemblies and methods of using adjustable venturi assemblies are disclosed. In one aspect, a venturi assembly for injecting a secondary fluid into a primary fluid flow path is provided. The venturi assembly comprises a nozzle, a constricted section in fluid communication with the nozzle, a secondary fluid conduit in fluid communication with the nozzle, and a flow adjusting device. The nozzle and constricted section together define the primary fluid flow path along a first axis. The secondary fluid conduit is for transporting secondary fluid from the secondary fluid reservoir to the constricted section along a second axis. The flow adjusting device is positioned opposite the secondary fluid conduit and is configured to alter a velocity of fluid flowing along the primary fluid flow path by extending into a portion of the constricted section along the second axis.
Vessel with agitator
Embodiments are described for a vessel with an aperture positioned at the top end of the vessel. A gasket having an opening is provided and disposed at the top end of the vessel such that the gasket is between the first and second sidewalls of the vessel. A selectively operable lid permits the opening of the vessel. At least one agitator is provided within the vessel to mix a stored material therein with a fluid.
PREPARATION PROCESS OF FOOD-GRADE POTASSIUM DIHYDROGEN PHOSPHATE
The present invention discloses a preparation process of food-grade potassium dihydrogen phosphate, wherein phosphoric acid prepared from wet-process phosphoric acid is used for the preparation of high-purity potassium dihydrogen phosphate. The preparation process of food-grade potassium dihydrogen phosphate provided in the present invention effectively reduces the preparation cost of the high-purity potassium dihydrogen phosphate and has the advantage of high process controllability, and by such a process, high-purity potassium dihydrogen phosphate crystals that meet the food-grade requirements can be produced, which crystals have uniform particle size distribution and comprises few fine powder, having a very high market value.
MIXER ROTOR PIN WITH HOLE
An apparatus for inserting and removing a mixer rotor pin includes at least one rotor pin with a transverse bore, as well as a rod dimensioned for slidably engaging the transverse bore. The apparatus also includes a mixer rotor pin insertion and removal tool having a tool body. A bottom of the tool has a slot for selectively engaging the aforementioned rod upon insertion of the rod into the transverse bore, and a top of the tool has a non-circular socket for accommodating a driver tool.
Food processor
A hand-crank operated food processor includes a container with a removeable lid. The lid incorporates a number of gears that are operable by the hand crank to cause a drive shaft to spin, imparting a rotational force to a food processing implement such as a blade or a paddle carried on the drive shaft. The crank can be inserted into any one of a plurality of attachment points such that rotation of the crank handle in a selected attachment point will rotate the gears, and therefore the drive shaft, at a different rotational speed as compared to the rotational speed achieved at a different one of the plurality of attachment points at the same input speed from the crank.
Food processor
A manual food processor includes a container with a removeable lid. The container includes a plurality of container undulations spaced along an upper portion of the container to form a seat. The lid is removably attachable to the container to enclose the interior space, and includes a food processing tool carried on a drive shaft. The lid further has a plurality of lid undulations which are complementary to and engageable with the plurality of container undulations, preventing the lid from rotating with respect to the container, and allowing removal of the lid without rotation of the lid.
CONTAINER ROTATION DEVICE
Described herein are devices and methods for rotating a container (e.g., a capped tube containing a sample). The disclosure provides devices and methods of rotating a container using one motor, resulting in a less complex device. The device moves and rotates a container rotating member which in turn is used to rotate a container. The devices can be used in automated analytical instruments (e.g., automated blood analyzers) that automatically transport and detect the identity of sample containers. The devices can also be used in instruments that automatically spin sample containers to mix or homogenize the sample.
