Auxiliary cooling fan for a bleeding system
A blender system includes a blender base that is selectively and operably engaged with a container. The blender base may include a housing that houses a motor operatively driving a mixing blade, and a fan. The fan may operate independent of the motor. The fan may force air through the blender base to cool the motor and other operative components of the blender base.
Powdery material mixing degree measurement device, powdery material mixing and feeding system, and compression-molding machine including the same
A powdery material mixing degree measurement device includes a discharger configured to discharge mixed powdery materials to a filler configured to fill, with the powdery materials, a vertically penetrating die bore of a compression-molding machine including a table including the die bore, a slidable lower punch including an upper end inserted to the die bore, and a slidable upper punch including a lower end inserted to the die bore, a plurality of movable portions configured to move the mixed powdery materials to the discharger, and a sensor configured to measure a mixing degree of the mixed powdery materials in the movable portions.
System for blending solutions
A system for blending solutions and a buffer solution is disclosed. In this system a switch valve is present capable of flowing one or more solutions, a low pressure pump for pumping the one or more solutions through the switch valve and a T-joint capable of receiving the one or more solutions through the low pressure pump and blending the one or more solutions with a buffer solution. A high pressure pump is present for collecting a blended solution.
Apparatus and method for mixing components
A dynamic mixer comprises a mixing chamber having a plurality of inlets and an outlet as well as a mixing element rotatably arranged in the mixing chamber. The mixing takes place by a to and fro movement of the mixing element.
Continuous mixing apparatus, system, and continuous mixing method for powder/granular material and viscous liquid
A continuous mixing apparatus for a powder/granular material and a viscous liquid, with a mixing cylinder, a shaft member which is on a central axis of the mixing cylinder and rotates inside the mixing cylinder, and a plurality of mixing paddles disposed on a surface of the shaft member, wherein the mixing cylinder is with a powder/granular material feed port on one end portion, a mixed material discharge port on the other end portion, and a viscous liquid injection unit between the powder/granular material feed port and the mixed material discharge port, and the plurality of mixing paddles are disposed on the shaft member so as to form a spiral around the central axis, the plurality of mixing paddles being, in at least a portion between the viscous liquid injection unit and the mixed material discharge port, attached to provide first rows having an attachment angle of 5 to 60.
Systems and methods for generating a conductive liquid comprising deionized water with ammonia gas dissolved therein
Systems and methods are described for dissolving ammonia gas in deionized water. The system includes a deionized water source and a gas mixing device including a first inlet for receiving ammonia gas, a second inlet for receiving a transfer gas, and a mixed gas outlet for outputting a gas mixture comprising the ammonia gas and the transfer gas. The system includes a contactor that receives the deionized water and the gas mixture and generates deionized water having ammonia gas dissolved therein. The system includes a sensor in fluid communication with at least one inlet of the contactor for measuring a flow rate of the deionized water, and a controller in communication with the sensor. The controller sets a flow rate of the ammonia gas based on the flow rate of the deionized water measured by the sensor, and a predetermined conductivity set point.
Method for increasing dissolution of solid chemistry blocks
A method and apparatus for obtaining a product chemistry from a solid block is provided. The product is housed within a dispenser, which utilizes a liquid and a gas to erode the block and produce a concentrate solution. The liquid and gas characteristics can be adjusted in the field to achieve a predetermined concentrate level in the solution. The introduction of air into the dispenser saves water, while producing higher concentrate levels.
Temperature controlled support surfaces for single use flexible wall systems
Disclosed is a jacketed, tiered baffle, bioreactor tank comprising an outer cylindrical-shaped jacket and a cylindrical tank having an inner tank surface defining a chamber configured for supporting a flexible bag disposed within the chamber, and an outer tank surface having tiered baffles configured for routing a heat exchange fluid around the entirety of the outer tank surface, the cylindrical tank disposed axially within the outer cylindrical-shaped jacket. The outer cylindrical-shaped jacket is sealed to the cylindrical tank in a manner sufficient to prevent or minimize loss of the heat exchange fluid.
Mixing tank steady bushing
A sanitary mixing tank steady bearing is replaceable without lifting a mixing tank shaft. The steady bearing is insertable into and removable from the bottom of a bearing support attached inside the base of the sanitary mixing tank. The steady bearing may thus be replaced by a service technician working through a man way/man hole on the top of the tank allowing service without lifting the mixing tank shaft. Gaps are provided between the bearing support and steady bearing allowing flushing material from around the steady bearing to easily maintain a sanitary environment.
PLUG FOR BEVERAGE CONTAINER LID
A device and system for temporarily sealing an orifice in a beverage container lid comprising a plug (10, 110, 210, 310) having an upper surface (14, 114, 214), a body portion (12, 112), and a lower surface (16, 116, 216), said body portion adapted to be inserted and releasably retained in the orifice to provide a temporary seal thereof, and an external member (20, 120, 220) located on the upper surface of the plug configured to allow a user to grip the plug for ease of removal from the orifice.
