Combination plunger device for a dual chamber mixing syringe
A combination plunger, a mixing device and a mixing syringe including the same are provided. The mixing syringe includes concentric outer and inner barrels that form an outer chamber, the inner barrel having an inner chamber. The combination plunger includes a mixing plunger and a delivery plunger and a biasing means. The mixing plunger is slidably located in the outer chamber and translated by coordinated depression of the delivery plunger to transfer a first substance from the outer chamber to mix with a second substance in the inner chamber. After the mixing stage is complete, the delivery plunger is disengaged from the mixing plunger and permitted, such as by rotation, to be further depressed in the axial direction to deliver fluid contents of the mixing syringe to a recipient. The mixing syringe needle is then retracted as result of engagement by the delivery plunger and activation of the biasing means.
Reagent channel mixing system and method
An analysis system may perform operations on an analyte that may be combined with multiple regents prior to being introduced into a flow cell. The instrument may include a volume into which the reagents to be combined with the analyte are aspirated one-by-one. The volume may be formed as a serpentine channel in a valve manifold associated with sippers for aspirating the reagents. The reagents may then be mixed by cycling a pump to move the reagents within the mixing volume or channel. For this, the reagents may be aspirated from a recipient into the volume or channel, ejected back into the recipient, and this process may be performed repeatedly to enhance mixing.
A SYSTEM, METHOD AND GENERATOR FOR GENERATING NANOBUBBLES OR NANODROPLETS
The present disclosure relates to a system, generator and method for generating nanobubbles or nanodroplets and treating a multi-component mixture, and in particular for treating biogas and wastewater. The method comprises using nanobubbles of a gas component, and wastewater, to form hydrates in a treatment vessel; removing residual dirt from the treatment vessel and melting the hydrates to facilitate release of clean water.
Acoustically settled liquid-liquid sample purification system
A sample purification system includes a container assembly bounding a sample purification compartment and having an upper end and an opposing lower end, the sample purification compartment comprising mixing zones and settling zones. A plurality of shielding elements are positioned within the sample purification compartment so as to at least partially separate adjacent mixing zones and settling zones or separate adjacent mixing zones, the mixing zones being in fluid communication with the settling zones. A mixing element is disposed within each mixing zone. An acoustic wave settler is aligned with a portion of the container assembly, the acoustic wave settler being configured to emit an acoustic wave through the portion of the container assembly and a mixture disposed therein, the acoustic wave coalescing fluid phase droplets disposed in the mixture to increase the buoyancy or density of the fluid phase droplets.
Surface treatment device comprising a paddle for stirring a surface treatment solution, paddle for stirring a surface treatment solution and method thereof
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a surface treatment device and a paddle with improved strength and uniform plating thickness by uniformly stirring surface treatment solution near an object to be plated. Also, the purpose of the present invention is to provide a surface treatment method capable of stirring for a long period of time, by uniformizing plating thickness, and by improving a strength of a paddle. A surface treatment device comprising at least one plateshaped paddle, in a surface treatment tank, for stirring surface treatment solution near an object to be plated by reciprocally moving the paddle with respect to the object to be plated, wherein the paddle is configured by integrally forming a plurality of square bars provided in depth direction of the surface treatment solution in the surface treatment tank along the object to be plated at regular intervals, and a square bar of the plurality of square bars is provided with a curved surface with respect to the object to be plated in a cross section in thickness direction of the square bar.

Provided is a culture bag accommodating a culture fluid, the culture bag is capable of suppressing foaming in the culture fluid when oscillating the culture fluid to perform a culture, and performing a culture with high efficiency. The culture bag includes a culture space accommodating a culture fluid, the culture space being an endless space to allow the culture fluid to circulate therein, in which the culture bag has an inner surface that comes into contact with the culture fluid to be accommodated therein, the inner surface including, at least in part thereof, a first surface formed of a fine structure and a second surface formed of a structure different from that of the first structure.
Apparatus for supplying reagents to a flow cytometry system
The disclosure provides example rinse station apparatus, cartridges, and methods for flow cytometry. The rinse station apparatus includes: (a) a cartridge docking station having a base with a recessed receptacle for a cartridge, a vertical support coupled to the base's first end and a top support coupled to the vertical support and cantilevered over the base, the top support has an opening that aligns with the cartridge's opening, (b) a locking arm coupled to the base's second end, the locking arm's free end has a ridge to cooperate with a detent coupled to the cartridge's rear wall to retain the cartridge in place, (c) a spring coupled to the vertical support's front face to apply force to the cartridge's front wall to bias the cartridge toward the locking arm, and (d) a load cell coupled to the base of the cartridge docking station, the load cell measure's the cartridge's weight.

A surgical system including a surgical tool and a navigation system for tracking the position of the surgical tool. The surgical tool comprising a housing including a variable speed motor and control module disposed within the housing. The navigation system comprising a navigation console in communication with the control module of the surgical tool, the navigation console may be configured to communicate instructions to the control module of the surgical tool based on the position of the surgical tool relative to a defined zone. The navigation console may be configured to deactivate the surgical tool based on the position of the surgical tool relative to the defined zone. The navigation console may also be configured to provide a user-selectable override option to allow continued operation of the surgical tool within the defined zone.
MIXING AND DISPENSING CONTAINER
A mixing and dispensing container for mixing and dispensing dental materials. The mixing and dispensing container includes: a plunger; an open-ended liquid receptacle adapted to receive the plunger; and a main body with a proximal end, a distal end, a chamber open at the proximal end and an aperture in the distal end. The chamber is adapted to receive the liquid receptacle. The dental capsule mixes various components of the dental materials and forms a dental paste for dispensing. The container is especially envisaged for use in mixing of components to provide a paste for dental use.
MOTORIZED MIXING DEVICE FOR USE WITH MEDICAL AGENTS
A device for mixing a medical agent and associated systems and methods are disclosed herein. In some embodiments, the device comprises (i) a housing defining a chamber configured to contain a fluid and having a longitudinal axis, (ii) a plunger assembly at least partially disposed within the chamber, the plunger assembly comprising a plunger and a stirring member extending along the longitudinal axis, and (iii) an actuating assembly operably coupled to the stirring member. The actuating assembly can have an active state in which the actuating assembly causes a distal end portion of the stirring member to rotate at a predetermined speed.
