COMPACT PULLEY PULLER
A compact pulley puller includes a hollow cylindrical barrel with a gland at each end, a hub clamp formed on each gland, a rod and a piston. Each hub clamp grips a particular size hub of a pulley to be removed or installed. The rod of the puller extends against the shaft of a pulley to remove the pulley. To install a pulley, the rod is threadedly secured to the shaft of the pulley, and the rod of the puller is retracted.
High throughput machining palette system
A palette for an automated machining system includes a body, a plurality of fasteners configured to apply a force laterally to body to fasten the body to a receiver in the automated machining system, and a soft jaw mechanism connected to the body. The soft jaw includes one or more locking blocks that are anchors for a floating block and wedge block that apply a force to hold a workpiece at a reproducible location between the one or more locking blocks. The floating block is configured to not engage with the body, workpiece, or wedge block beyond friction and/or compressive forces.

Modular testing fixture
A testing fixture for testing a component of an industrial machine is disclosed herein. The testing fixture includes a fixture block and a component interfacing fixture that fastens to the fixture block. The fixture block includes a block tapered bore that forms a block tapered bore wall. The block tapered bore wall includes a block tapered surface with a frustoconical shape. The component interfacing fixture includes a receiving slot for the component and a stem. The stem includes a tapered portion that has a stem tapered surface with a frustoconical shape that mates with the block tapered surface.
Release mechanism for clamping tools
The present invention provides an improved release mechanism for clamping tools where problems of thread slipping due to worn out thread can be reduced by the structure of a plunger with a small diameter section and the engagement of the thread shaft is made more secure by the cam action on account of the shape of the plunger. A protrusion extends from a push button on a top portion of the half-threaded nut. Threads are formed on an upper portion of the hole for engaging the threaded shaft. The middle portion of the plunger is made to have a section of small diameter allowing the protrusion to be pushed downward in a normal position and allowing the protrusion to rely on the resilient power of the helical spring to push it upward into the small diameter section.
Method and apparatus for removing a cover from a valve box
A gripping mechanism extends from a clamping mechanism. The clamping mechanism includes a fixed handle, a pivotally connected movable handle, a releasable locking mechanism, and the upper section of two opposing L-shaped arms. The lower section of each arm extends from the clamping mechanism to connect to a pair of lugs to form the gripping mechanism. Each lug includes an elongated member and a gripping surface for gripping a valve box cover. The gripping mechanism is manipulated to pivot the arms and move the gripping surfaces into position to grip the valve box cover. Once the gripping surfaces grip the cover, the arms are locked in a fixed position relative to one another to facilitate the separation of the cover, the lifting of the cover, and the transportation of the cover from the valve box.
Opening and closing chuck
A guide rail is provided on an outer surface of a chuck body. A pair of fingers is disposed on the guide rail. At least one of the pair of fingers is a movable finger that is movable along the guide rail. One or two cylinder apparatuses, each of which has a rod that advances and retracts in the direction of its axial line by the action of air pressure, are provided in the chuck body. The top end of the rod extends from an end of the chuck body to the outside. An end block is attached to the top end of the rod. The end block is linked to the movable finger.
Movable table system
The present disclosure relates to a movable table system comprising: a table; a first actuator for moving the table in a first direction; a second actuator for moving the table in a second direction; a first linear guide, which is coupled to the first actuator and the table, for guiding the table in the second direction; a second linear guide, which is coupled to the second actuator and the table, for guiding the table in the first direction; and a support portion for supporting the first actuator and the second actuator.
Stamp-face platemaking device, medium holder, and medium holder manufacturing method
A stamp-face platemaking device transports a medium holder inserted into a plate insertion portion to a printing unit. The medium holder holds a stamp face material in a plate-like member, and has a predetermined pattern in a side end portion thereof. An optical sensor detects the top end portion of the medium holder on a sensor scanning line in the inserting direction, and the pattern start point and the pattern end point of the predetermined pattern. At least one of the horizontal and vertical sizes of the stamp face material is set based on the positions of two of the detected end portions. When the pattern end point is detected, platemaking with the stamp face material is started.
Workpiece holder device and method for mounting a workpiece in a workpiece holding device
A workpiece holder device for workpieces to be machined on multiple sides, wherein the workpiece can be held axially and radially relative to the first axis between a first workpiece holder, operatively connected to at least one support spindle of the workpiece holder device and rotatable about a first axis, and at least one second workpiece holder, operatively connected to at least one drive spindle of the workpiece holder device and rotatable around the first axis, by force locking by a clamping force which can be built up in the manner of a vice between the first workpiece holder and the second workpiece holder in the axial direction of the first axis and acting on the opposite sides of the workpiece.
