Constant diameter pumping system and method
The pumping system includes a pipe section having a uniform inside diameter, and a production water piping circuit connected to branch pipes on the upstream and downstream ends of the pipe section, forming a loop with the pipe section. The production water circuit comprises a pump and valves for pumping production water into the pipe section through the inlet branch pipe and out through the outlet branch pipe. There is also provided a method for pumping upload water and fish along the pipe section, comprising the steps of drawing production water out of the pipe section through the downstream end of the pipe section, and simultaneously inducing a flow of upload water and fish through the pipe section. The method also includes the step of pumping production water into an upstream end of the pipe section and causing a flow of upload water and fish along the pipe section.
Modular Buoyancy System and Flotation Element for Net Cage
A buoyancy element is for constructing a modular buoyancy system for a circularly shaped net cage. The buoyancy element includes a cage side, an opposite straight long side, and coupling sides between the cage side and the straight long side. The cage side is curved, following the periphery of the net cage.

Fishing Light
A submersible lantern is anchored to the sea floor and kept upright by a float and a countersink weight. The lantern emits multiple patterns of green and white light. The lantern has an elongated body, and includes a float and weight to vertically orient the lantern underwater so that it emits light 360 degrees around the lantern body. A push button switch along with a PCB board cycles the lights and power level to the lights based on the particular application. A wireless circuit is used for remote operation via a mobile phone or other wireless device. The lantern can be used both in the sea and on land, and includes a two-part power connector to connect to various power sources including a conventional 12-volt battery, a 12-volt battery through a cigarette lighter
Target object detection device and method of displaying echo data in the target object detection device
A target object detection device is provided. The device includes a signal processor, a display unit, and a controller. The signal processor receives a reception signal generated based on an echo of an ultrasonic wave from a target object and generates echo data corresponding to a distance from a transmission source of the ultrasonic wave to the target object every time the ultrasonic wave is transmitted. The display unit has a display screen with a first side and a second side that is turnable in an axial direction perpendicular to the display screen, and displays an image on the display screen based on the echo data. The controller sets a range with respect to time at which the ultrasonic wave is transmitted, and outputs the echo data corresponding to the ultrasonic wave within the time range according to turning of the display screen.
Salmon migration lift device
A salmon migration lift device including a lift cable loop between two bullwheel terminals and a plurality of gondola buckets suspended from the lift cable loop which are filled with water and fish at a loading station on a downstream side of a waterway obstacle and which are emptied at an unloading station into a fish exit chute connected to the upstream side of the waterway obstacle.
