Can shell and double-seamed can end closure
A drawn aluminum can shell has a peripheral crown which is double-seamed with an end portion of an aluminum can body to provide a can end having a generally flat center panel connected by an inclined curved or straight panel wall to an inner wall of an annular U-shaped countersink. The countersink has an outer wall which connects with a lower wall portion of a chuck wall, and the chuck wall has an upper wall portion which connects with an inner wall of the crown. The chuck wall also has an intermediate wall portion forming a break, and the inner bottom width of the countersink is less than the radial width of the panel wall.
Nesting and shock absorbing package
A package for enclosing at least one item is disclosed. The package includes a first portion having a first surface including at least one protrusion, a second portion having a second surface including at least one indentation, and a hinge connecting the first portion to the second portion. The hinge is configured to allow the package to transition from an open position to a closed position. In the closed position the first portion and the second portion define an enclosed space for enclosing an item. The at least one protrusion and the at least one indentation may provide cushioning and shock absorption for the package and/or may allow the package to nest with another package stacked above or below the package.
Shaped elastomeric container with integrated leak resistant seal and pressure shield
A container made of an elastomer such as silicone with an integrated leak resistant seal and pressure shield. The seal incorporates press-fit elements with sizes and shapes sufficient to provide a strong seal that resists leakage of liquids from inside the container. The seal is integrated into the container and requires no external clips or clasps. The pressure shield increases leak resistance by at least 300% and is formed by adding material to the inside of the container and not to the engaging portions of the seal and works by deflecting pressure away from the two leak resistant seal portions. Additional features are provided to facilitate opening such as extended flaps for pulling the sides open, and asymmetric cavities for press-fit elements to reduce the initial opening force. The container itself may be of asymmetrical shape, such as trapezoidal, to provide a wide opening along with a strong seal.
APPARATUS FOR HOUSING AND REVEALING A PLURALITY OF CHILDREN'S TOYS
An apparatus comprising a plurality of bodies which can be assembled together to form a singular three-dimensional body.
The bodies each a cavity within which a child's toy can be received. Each cavity has a cavity opening through which said child's toy can be viewed, accessed and/or withdrawn from the cavity. The cavity opening is obstructed by an adjacent one of the plurality of bodies when the plurality of bodies are in the assembled state.
Modular tanks
A modular tank comprises one or more wall modules coupled together and one or more liner bags supported by the one or more wall modules for the containment of liquid, in particular water. The wall modules can be planar or curved and the edges of the wall modules are coupled together via joining members. The modular tank comprises one or more layers of the wall modules. One or more of the wall modules comprise a hole and the one or more liner bags, which can be coupled together, comprise one or more parts that protrude through the holes in the wall modules to support the liner bags.
Methods of adding expansion material to flexible containers
Methods of opening and adding expansion materials to containers made from flexible materials. The methods involve forming a partially completed container blank that may have four layers of flexible materials. The partially completed container blank may be opened by separating a portion of the first layer from a portion of the second layer by bending portions of the second, third, and fourth layers toward a first direction; and dosing the partially completed container blank, by adding an expansion material out of a dispenser and into a space disposed between a portion of the first layer and a portion of the second layer.
REUSABLE STAINLESS STEEL BOTTLE FOR TRANSPORTING AND STORING LIQUIDS AND A METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THEREOF
A reusable stainless steel bottle for transporting and storing of liquids has a cylindrical shape and includes the following components: an upper cylindrical portion (1) and a neck (3) connected thereto, and a lower cylindrical portion (2), wherein all the components of the bottle are connected with each other with weld seams (4, 6), and at least one of the weld seams (4, 6) forms a reinforcing rib.
Blister package for pharmaceutical cartridges
A blister packaging for a pharmaceutical cartridge or capsule and methods of forming same are disclosed.
Structure of nozzle for fluid tank piping
A structure whereby a piping nozzle can be simply attached to a tank body is disclosed. A cylinder of a nozzle body is inserted through the interior and exterior of the tank body via a nozzle body insertion hole in the tank body. A skirt is provided on an end portion of the cylinder, and expands annularly from the end portion of the cylinder in the interior of the tank body. A sealing member is interposed between an inner surface of the tank body and the skirt around the nozzle body insertion hole. A spacer member is disposed on an outer surface of the tank body around the cylinder. By tightening a nut on a male screw of the cylinder of the nozzle body, a portion of the tank body around the nozzle body insertion hole is sandwiched by the skirt of the nozzle body and the spacer member.
Configurable container assembly
A configurable container assembly is described. Embodiments of the configurable container assembly can include a container having a plurality of slots located around a perimeter of a top of the container. The slots can be configured to receive protrusions of one or more accessories. The configurable container assembly can be implemented in a closed configuration and an open configuration.
