The aviation cargo aerodynamic encasement further comprises a fairing configured to detachably couple to the platform, wherein the fairing, when coupled to the platform, forms an aerodynamic encasement, and wherein the aerodynamic encasement is detachably mountable to an aircraft by the two or more load transfer structures.

Shaped elastomeric container with integrated leak resistant seal
RE048721 · 2021-09-07 · ·

A container made of an elastomer such as silicone with an integrated leak resistant seal. The seal incorporates press-fit elements with sizes and shapes sufficient to provide a strong seal that resists leakage of liquids from inside the container. The seal is integrated into the container and requires no external clips or clasps. Additional features are provided to facilitate opening such as extended flaps for pulling the sides open, and asymmetric cavities for press-fit elements to reduce the initial opening force. The container itself may be of asymmetrical shape, such as trapezoidal, to provide a wide opening along with a strong seal.

What is disclosed is a container for transporting and storing goods, having a floor and side walls extending from the floor. In accordance with the invention, at least one of the side walls or a part thereof is formed by a grid-like structure which is extensible and compressible or able to be pulled apart and squeezed together at least in one direction and within the side wall plane so as to demarcate or to close the container toward the side in a first position and to release the container toward the side in a second position.

SHAPED ELASTOMERIC CONTAINER WITH INTEGRATED LEAK RESISTANT SEAL AND PRESSURE SHIELD

A container made of an elastomer such as silicone with an integrated leak resistant seal and pressure shield. The seal incorporates press-fit elements with sizes and shapes sufficient to provide a strong seal that resists leakage of liquids from inside the container. The seal is integrated into the container and requires no external clips or clasps. The pressure shield increases leak resistance by at least 300% and is formed by adding material to the inside of the container and not to the engaging portions of the seal and works by deflecting pressure away from the two leak resistant seal portions. Additional features are provided to facilitate opening such as extended flaps for pulling the sides open, and asymmetric cavities for press-fit elements to reduce the initial opening force. The container itself may be of asymmetrical shape, such as trapezoidal, to provide a wide opening along with a strong seal.

A variable volume container, comprising: a lower portion comprising a base and four walls, the four walls extending from the base and comprising a lip at the top of the walls of the lower portion; and an upper portion comprising four walls, wherein opposing walls of the upper portion comprise one or more protrusions configured to abut the lip of the lower portion to allow the upper portion to rest upon the lower portion, to place the container in an extended position; and wherein the opposing walls of the upper portion comprising the one or more protrusions are configured to flex laterally, relative to the lip of the lower portion, to allow the one or more protrusions to be disengaged from the lip to allow the upper portion to be moved downwards relative to the lower portion, to place the container in a retracted position.

Food container and method for manufacturing same

Provided are a food container which is formed to have a sealing moiety integrated with a lid or a container body and is not easily deformed when heated by a microwave oven or the like, so as to be capable of keeping a sealed state, and a method for manufacturing the food container. A food container 10 has a container body 11 having, in the upper surface thereof, an opening 111, and a lid 12 fittable to the container body 11 to close the opening 111. In the lid 12 or the container body 11, a sealing moiety 13 is located which makes the periphery of the opening 111 in a sealed state under a situation that the opening 111 is closed by the lid 12. The sealing moiety 13 includes an elastomer composition which includes a hydrogenated styrene based block copolymer A that has a weight-average molecular weight of 100,000 to 500,000, a softener B for rubber that has a weight-average molecular weight of 500 or more, and an olefin based resin C, and which has a hardness A of 5 to 70 both inclusive, and a compressive permanent strain (CS) of 60% or less at 100° C. over 24 hours. The sealing moiety is formed to be integrated with the lid or the container body, and the lid 12 or the container body 11 includes a polypropylene.

CHILD RESISTANT AND AIRTIGHT CONTAINER

Disclosed herein are modular container systems having child-resistant containers, tray inserts and tray frames. Also disclosed are methods using the modular container systems and methods of storing substances in containers. The containers have a container base and a container cap and provide for child-resistant containers. A user can releasably remove the container cap from container base with a squeeze and lift sequence. For example, the user squeezes opposite sides of the container base, which releases a locking mechanism and allows for removal of the cap by lifting or pulling the container cap off from the container base. The components of the modular container system are modular and stackable. The modular system allow for organized, efficient, accessible and storage of the child-resistant containers. The modular container system also allows for easy counting, sorting and processing of the containers.
