Selectively lockable box and method of use
A selectively lockable box may have a locking structure that may have a first bar, a second bar and a lock housing. The first and second bar engage with one another, and the lock, to lock the box. The first bar may be horizontally oriented to lock a box lid, and the second bar may be a vertically oriented to lock other access areas of the box.
Mounting system, devices, methods and uses thereof
The present specification discloses systems, devices, and methods provide a mounting system which includes rail and a bracket which is selectively secured to the rail. The bracket is selectively and/or automatically locked to the rail when positioned on the rail, and may be removed from the rail by activating one or more buttons or actuators. The disclosed mounting systems, devices, and methods enable a device to be protected from impact and moisture exposure, enable a device to be securely mounted on a base, and/or enable a device to be quickly secured and removed from a base.
Clamping device and clamping system using the same
A clamping device includes a first holder and a second holder. The first holder includes a first abutting member and a driving member. The driving member is coupled to the first abutting member. The second holder includes a second abutting member. The first abutting member and the second abutting member are oppositely disposed and spaced apart from each other to receive a workpiece. The driving member is coupled to the first abutting member to drive the first abutting member to move in a direction toward the second abutting member to clamp the workpiece between the first abutting member and the second abutting member.
Clamping system using wedge with angle transmission
The present invention relates to a clamping device having a mounting element with an axis of rotation X, an actuator, a support that has an opening of axis X in which opening the mounting element and the actuator are positioned. The mounting element includes a slide in which there are positioned a ring and a locking wedge which collaborate with at least one angle transmission. The support has an interior groove arranged in the opening and the ring and the locking wedge collaborate with the interior groove. The mounting element can thus easily be angularly positioned. There are preferably two angle transmissions positioned such that they are diametrically opposed.
Wedge driver and method therefor
A wedge driver and method therefor is presented. A wedge driver can be operably coupled to different ends of a link joiner to drive a wedge therebetween to form a single link. The wedge driver can also drive the wedge out of the link joiner. The present disclosure provides the benefit of allowing the safe and effective removal of the link joiner by preventing violent or forceful decoupling of a link joiner. The wedge driver can include a trunk, a first prong, a second prong, a bolt, and a driver. The driver can be spring enabled, such that the driver can recede into the trunk as the bolt egresses the trunk. A bolt of the wedge driver can push a driver out of the trunk to axially drive the wedge into (or out of) a link joiner without rotating the wedge.
Clamping device
A clamping device has a clamping member (2) moveably mounted in a main body 1. A linearly movable actuator (3) is operatively connected to the clamping member (2). A spring element (4) is operatively connected to the actuator (3). A rotatably mounted actuating element (5) is operatively connected to the spring element (4). The spring element (4) is a compression spring that can be compressed when tensioning by the actuating element (5).
Clamp for standing seam
A clamp assembly that may be used for securing to a raised portion of a surface. The clamp assembly comprising a mounting body of a general block shape having a slot for receiving the raised portion formed in a bottom surface of the mounting body attaching the clamp assembly thereto. The clamp assembly is configured with one or more pins that may be formed in a substantially elongated cylindrical shape. The pins may be configured to be received in one or more push-pin holes formed in the mounting body, whereby the push-pin holes extend to the slot from a side surface of push-pin holes. The clamp assembly includes a fastening element adapted to be received in a fastener hole formed adjacent the push-pin holes in the side surface of the mounting body. The fastening element is configured to secure, attach and hold the clamp assembly to the standing seam by forcing the pins against the raised portion of the surface disposed in the slot.
Additive lathe that prints in cylindrical coordinates
An additive lathe integrates the advantages of additive manufacturing (also called 3d printing) with the cylindrical motion of a lathe to reduce material waste, print times, and increase creative potential. A post-processing system allows for an improved surface finishing on parts. The additive lathe no longer prints in cartesian (X, Y, Z) coordinates as other 3D printers and instead prints using cylindrical (R, Theta, Z) coordinates. The traditional bed or build plate is replaced with a horizontal cylindrical starter bar, on which 3D printed material is deposited along and around the bar. Essentially, the additive lathe works like a conventional lathe, but in reverse. Instead of taking a cylinder and slowly removing material as the part spins, the additive lathe adds material along and around the bar iteratively building up the part. The finishing mechanism allows for the creation of a smooth outer finish on printed parts while still in the printer.
Adapter for mounting cable hangers
An adapter for a cable hanger includes: a housing having a floor, a vertical wall extending generally perpendicularly from the floor, and side walls extending generally perpendicularly from the floor and vertical wall, each of the side walls including a finger extending generally parallel to the floor, the fingers including first engagement features, the vertical wall including a mounting hole; and a plunger having a main panel and second engagement features on opposite sides of the main panel, the second engagement features configured to engage the first engagement features to restrict relative movement of the plunger relative to the housing.
Spring clamp for optics
An optical device may include an optic disposed in an optical path. The optical device may include a mount to dispose the optic in the optical path. The optical device may include a plurality of spring clamps to attach the optic to the mount. The spring clamp, of the plurality of spring clamps, may include a body, a spring, and a screw. The screw may be to attach to the mount and to compress the spring. The spring may be to dispose a leading edge of the body against the optic. The spring clamp may be to maintain the optic in the optical path for a thermal cycle of at least between approximately 50 C. and approximately 130 C.
