Pneumatic clamping device
A pneumatic clamping device includes a main body, a piston, a first linkage member and a second linkage member. The main body includes a chamber. The piston includes a pillar part. The first linkage member includes a first arm part and a second arm part. The second linkage member includes a third arm part and a fourth arm part. When the air is introduced into the chamber, the pillar part is gradually moved to push the first arm part and the third arm part, so that the second arm part is externally expanded relative to the fourth arm part. When the air is exited from the chamber, the pillar part is gradually moved to pull back the first arm part and the third arm part, so that the second arm part is internally retracted relative to the fourth arm part.
MULTIPOSITION FIXTURE HOLDER
An arrangement including a fixture device that includes a holding device, a ball, a socket and a magnet. The holding device includes first and second holding elements and a biasing member arranged to force at least one of the two holding elements into a holding position. The ball is attached to the holding device. The socket includes a first side configured to receive at least part of the ball. A section of the ball is made of a magnetic material such that the ball is maintained in a selected position in relation to the socket by the magnet. A support includes a magnetic material wherein the fixture device is arranged to be removably attached to the support by a magnetic force and wherein the socket includes a second side attached to the support by the magnet and wherein the socket is movable along the surface of the support.
CLAMP ASSEMBLY USING PINS
A versatile clamp assembly that may be used for securing a device generally to an edge of a structure such as a raised portion of a standing seam of a metal roof. The assembly comprises a mounting body with an open loop having a slot for receiving the raised portion formed by the mounting body attaching the clamp assembly thereto. The assembly is configured with one or more pins that may be configured to be received in one or more push-pin openings formed in the mounting body, whereby the push-pin openings extend from a fastener base portion to a second arm portion. The assembly includes a fastener adapted to be received in a fastener opening formed adjacent the push-pin openings. The fastener is configured to secure and hold the clamp assembly to the standing seam by forcing the pins against the raised portion of the surface disposed in the slot.
Universal roller rebuilder apparatus and method
A universal roller rebuilder apparatus and method includes a first holder, with an outer angled contact rim. The outer angled contact rim at least partially surrounds an access hole and further is conformed to contact with a roller. The roller includes at least one removable element inside the roller. A second holder includes an outer angled contact rim that at least partially surrounds an access hole. A pair of end brackets are connected with a support frame where the first holder is connected with one end bracket and the second holder is connected with the other end bracket. The pair of end brackets support the first holder and the second holder in alignment such that the roller is held in position with the aligned holders. A puller aligns and connects with the roller in the same alignment as the first holder and the second holder.
Clamping system
A clamping system that includes a first jaw, a second jaw—the second jaw being pivotally connected to the first jaw—a locking handle pivotally connected to the first and second jaws, an adjustment element, first and second lever arms, and a release lever secured to the locking handle and configured to move the locking handle away from the first jaw.
On-axis actuator for rotating bodies
On-axis actuator system includes an actuator bracket formed with at least one bracket cavity. Actuator links couple open and close rollers. An actuator member coupled to close roller and disposed within an actuator housing. Moving the actuator member towards the actuator bracket presses the close roller against the bracket to rotate the bracket. A device coupled to the bracket rotates with the bracket.
Four-bar clamping device
A clamping device comprises an inner rod, a sliding handle, one or more claws, a top yoke, a bottom yoke, a spring, and a counterweight. The sliding handle surrounds and slides about the inner rod. The top yoke is coupled to the inner rod and each claw is coupled to the top yoke. The bottom yoke is coupled to the sliding handle and each claw is coupled to the bottom yoke via linkage bars. The inner rod is coupled to the counterweight. The spring extends between the sliding handle and the counterweight. The claws, top yoke, linkage bars, and bottom yoke form four-bar linkages. The clamping device clamps an object via a spring force transferred to the claws via the four-bar linkages. Each claw provides an equivalent clamping force independent of orientation of the apparatus. Spring tension is configurable by threading the inner rod into and out of the counterweight.
Tool Assembly for a Crafting Apparatus
A tool assembly includes a housing, a shaft, a spherical member, and a head. The housing defines a shaft channel. The shaft is rotatably disposed within the shaft channel and includes an exposed portion outside of the shaft channel. The exposed portion defines an engagement channel extending through an outer surface of the exposed portion. The spherical member is disposed within the engagement channel. The head is configured to be engaged with the exposed portion of the shaft. The head includes a detent configured to selectively engage the spherical member.
CLAMPING DEVICE
The invention relates to a clamping device for a workpiece, comprising a lower clamping element and an upper clamping element which form a workpiece holder.
