Taper jig and methods of use
A taper jig that provides a woodworker with multifunctional use for orientating and maintaining a workpiece in order to make a tapered cut in a workpiece at desired incremental angles. The taper jig includes a first track and a second track that operably engages the first track wherein the second track is pivotably moveable relative to the first track. The taper jig also includes at least one measurement scale assembly that operably secures the first track and the second track to one another at a predetermined angle. The taper jig also includes at least one clamping handle assembly that operably engages one of the first track and the second track, wherein the at least one clamping handle assembly being adapted to clamp a workpiece. The taper jig may also include a first sled and a second sled that operably engage with the first and second tracks.
Cabinet assembly jig
A jig for assembling a cabinet is disclosed. The jig includes a clamp assembly pivotally attached to a base. The clamp assembly includes a first jaw and a second jaw configured to apply a clamping force therebetween. The clamp assembly can pivot between a first position and a first inclined position. In the first position, a front support plate of the clamp assembly is oriented vertically, and in the first inclined position, a first angle less than 90 degrees is formed between the front support plate and a support surface on which the base rests. The clamp assembly may also pivot to a second inclined position at which a second angle less than the first angle is formed between the front support plate and the support surface.
Modular Jig and Fixture Systems and Methods
Jigs and fixtures for aligning, guiding, and/or holding a workpiece on woodworking machinery during a woodworking operation are described, as well as methods of making, modifying, and using jigs and fixtures.
Modular tool
Provided is a modular tool for installing a platform into a tower section of a wind turbine tower, comprising a first body element, a second body element, wherein each body element has a first base plate, on which the tower section rests in use of the modular tool, and a second base plate, which rests on a foundation in use of the modular tool, wherein the base plates are spaced apart from each other and are arranged parallel to each other, and at least one connecting beam that detachable connects the body elements to each other and that defines a width of a gap between the body elements. Due to the fact that the at least one connecting beam detachable connects the body elements to each other, the modular tool can be easily adapted to different tower diameters by replacing the at least one connecting beam.

Gripping or clamping device comprising a sliding guide and roller guide between jaw guide surfaces and a housing
A gripping or clamping device including a housing body and at least one jaw guide which is provided in the housing body and has two lateral walls, including at least one jaw which can be moved in the jaw guide along a movement direction, guide surfaces being provided on the lateral walls and the jaw having sliding surfaces which interact with the guide surfaces to form a sliding guide, wherein at least one raceway part and rolling elements are provided in the jaw guide, the jaw and the raceway part each having a raceway for abutting against the rolling elements to form a roller guide.
Apparatus for supporting convolutely wound logs of web material during cutting
An apparatus supports a convolutely wound log of web material during cutting of the convolutely wound log, and includes a bottom support link operatively pivotally coupled to a support frame and a side support link operatively pivotally coupled to the support frame and the bottom support link. A flexible member operatively coupled to a distal end of the side support link extends tangentially from the side support link and curves away from the side support link and the bottom support link so that a portion of the flexible member is spaced away from the side support link and the bottom support link. The spaced away portion of the flexible member together with the side support link and the bottom support link at least in part define a support surface for supporting the convolutely wound log when the log is directed into the apparatus.
Microphone holder with adjustable clamping spacing
A microphone holder includes a coupling seat and a holding seat having a lower end coupled to the coupling seat. The holding seat includes an adjusting portion above the lower end of the holding seat and a clamping portion located above the adjusting portion. A longitudinal groove extends from a top end of the adjusting portion and is defined by first and second actuating portions having first and second inclined guiding portions, respectively. The clamping portion includes first and second clamping pieces having lower ends connected to the first and second actuating portions, respectively. A clamping groove is defined between the first and second clamping pieces. An adjusting ring is disposed around the adjusting portion and includes a longitudinal hole. An upper end of the inner periphery of the longitudinal hole includes an abutting portion configured to abut against the first and second inclined guiding faces.
EXPANDABLE FIXTURE
An expandable fixture contains: a first body, a second body, and an actuation rod. The first body includes a first clamp and a grip. The second body includes a connection structure, and the second body includes a second clamp. The first body further includes a drive mechanism configured to pull the actuation rod to drive the first clamp and the second clamp to clamp, a press extension configured to control the drive mechanism, and a first positioning structure vertically corresponding to the actuation rod. The second body includes a second positioning structure rotatably connected on a peripheral side thereof, and each of the first positioning structure and the second positioning structure is a respective one of two T-shaped posts slidably mounted on a respective one of two T-shaped slide rails of a work table.
CLAMPING DEVICE AND WORKPIECE CLAMPING METHOD
A clamping device includes a cylinder, a base body, a movable plate, and holding pins. The movable plate is attached to the base body substantially parallel thereto via two pairs of link arms. The movable plate moves along the operating direction of the cylinder. The movable plate can abut against a width-direction side surface of a workpiece. The holding pins are attached to the movable plate. The holding pins abut against an upper portion of the workpiece.
