Hand pliers
The invention relates to hand pliers (1) which are in particular embodied as crimping pliers. According to the invention, the hand pliers (1) comprise a counting device (16) which counts the number passed working strokes (17). The counting device (16) is built with a sensor which senses the distance or displacement of two components moved relatively to each other over the working stroke (17), in particular the distance or displacement of hand levers (2, 3). If the count number registered by the counting device (16) exceeds a threshold value, it is possible to produce a display at a displaying device of the hand pliers (1) which indicates that an exchange of drive elements or an exchange of dies or a certification of the hand pliers is required.

Device for handling a bone screw
A device for handling a bone screw to be connected with a vertebral rod includes an essentially cylindrical and hollow housing and an adjustment tool which axially traverses the housing and which has a section provided with an outer threading and is screwed into an internal threading of the housing, wherein the housing is constructed pliers-like and has a first and a second jaw which relative to the user each have a proximal and a distal end, wherein the distal ends engage at the head of the bone screw, wherein the two jaws are pivotably connected with each other via a pivot axis which is situated between the distal and proximal ends and extends orthogonally in relation to the longitudinal axis of the housing, and wherein the internal threading of the housing is provided on a proximal end of a single one of the jaws.
MECHANISM FOR DRIVER HEAD ADJUSTMENT
An uncapping apparatus for a test tube cap includes a drive head having at least two drive head elements. The drive head elements have a first section and a second section located on two opposite sides of a rotary shaft. An elastic element provides a tensioning force to the drive head elements. A switching element is movable between a first position and a second position. In the first position, the second sections are under the tensioning force of the elastic element to cause the first sections to form a first drive head size. In the second position, the switching element acts on the elastic element to change the tensioning force acting on the second sections, so that by rotation of the drive head element, the first sections form a second drive head size. A method for using an uncapping apparatus to open a test tube cap is also described.
Surgical device having changeable elements
A device is provided that includes an elongate first member and an elongate second member disposed adjacent to the first member and at least movably coupled to the first member. A first electrode or forceps end is coupled to the first member, and a second electrode or forceps end is coupled to the second member. At least a portion of the electrodes or forceps ends are movable with respect to the members to which they are coupled. In one variation, an electrosurgical device kit is provided that includes removable electrode heads.
Pliers
A pliers is provided, including a first clamping body and a second clamping body. The first clamping body has two first jaw portions and two first gripping portions, and the two first jaw portions are associated respectively with the two first gripping portions and are capable of being open or closed relative to each other. The second clamping body has a clamping jaw and a second gripping portion, the second clamping body and the first clamping body are pivotally connected to each other at a location between the clamping jaw and the second gripping portion, and the clamping jaw and the two first jaw portions are capable of being open or closed relative to each other.
Multi-use camping tool
In one example, a multi-use tool includes a first portion that includes a first utensil, and a second portion that includes a second utensil. A connection mechanism is provided that enables the first utensil and second utensil to be releasably attached to each other in a first configuration in which the first utensil and second utensil collectively form a set of tongs.
Cutter
A cutter includes two handles, a blade, a cutting board, an angle holder, two screws, a spring-biased lock and a releasing element. The cutting board is supported on the first handle. The blade is connected to the second handle. The angle holder includes teeth and a cutout. The angle holder is attached to the first handle by the screws. The releasing element is pivotally connected to the first handle and includes a slot. The spring-biased lock is pivotally connected to the first handle. The spring-biased lock is allowed to engage with the teeth or enter the cutout when an end of the slot is placed against one of the screws. The spring-biased lock is removed from the teeth and the cutout when another end of the slot is placed against the screw.

PLIERS
A pliers includes a first member having a first head and a first handle, and a second member having a second head and a second handle. Each of the handles includes a recessed grip area bounded by a forward lip and a rear lip. The rear lip has a cross-sectional area not greater than a cross-sectional area of a portion of the handle adjacent the rear lip and opposite the grip area. The pliers also includes a first grip positioned on the grip area of the first handle and a second grip positioned on the grip area of the second handle.
