Tool safety accessory
There is disclosed a tool safety accessory configured to be securely attached to a handheld tool to provide an attachment point. In an embodiment, the tool safety accessory comprises a clamp configured to be adjustably secured to a handheld tool by means of one or more fasteners, wherein: the clamp includes an inner surface suitably shaped and sized to receive a body or handle of a handheld tool; the clamp is configured such that a first portion and a second portion of the clamp when fastened together by one or more fasteners form a gap when the clamp is fully fastened to the body or handle of the handheld tool; and the clamp includes an opening or hole for receiving a retaining means. The tool safety attachment may comprise a two-part clamp or one-part clamp made of a flexibly resilient reinforced plastic material.
Manual gripping device for clamping objects
The invention relates to a mechanical device for manually clamping objects (10), which allows a user to clamp objects which, owing to their characteristics, uses or processes, would be dangerous to the user's hand, as well as simply to clamp different objects. The device consists of five main parts: an upper jaw (15), a lower jaw (25), an upper handle (45), a lower handle (30), and a simple lever two-point shaft (65). In order to clamp an object with the device, the user inserts his/her thumb into the thumb hole (35) in the lower handle (30) and the rest of the fingers into the upper handle (45). By expanding the fingers of the hand the upper (15) and lower (25) jaws open and by contracting the fingers the jaws close. Objects are clamped on the opposite side of the palm. This device (10) can be used ambidextrously.

Tongs with cooking grate manipulator
Multi-purpose cooking tongs that are configured to grasp food and bars of a cooking grate.
Grip tool
A tool (for gripping an object (e.g., a cylindrical object)) includes: an outer handle; a tubular neck having a proximal end connected to the outer handle; a linkage assembly having first and second ends connected to a distal end of the neck; an inner handle; a connecting rod having a proximal end connected to the inner handle and a distal end connected to a middle portion of the linkage assembly, partially disposed substantially coaxially within the neck thereby nesting the inner handle within the outer handle; and first and second claws attached to the linkage assembly, each claw having a compression surface (e.g., a concave cylindrical surface) configured to conform as a substantial complement to a portion of an outer surface of the to-be-gripped object (e.g., the to-be-gripped cylindrical object).
System and method for printing customized graphics on footwear and other articles of clothing
A shoe platen to securely hold a shoe so that graphics, including custom graphics, can be printed on the shoe automatically. The platen comprises a shoe plate 102 configured to receive shoes such as high-top shoes or low top shoes. Adjusters 104, 106 can also be used to accommodate shoes of various styles and sizes.
Bagel dough removal tongs and method of use
Bagel dough removal tongs for removing bagel dough from a substantially half-toroid-shaped bagel half, the tongs comprising: a first tong member having a first leg terminating distally in a first end; a second tong member having a second leg terminating distally in a second end, the first and second legs being joined at a proximal hinge opposite the distal first and second ends, the hinge being configured to bias the first and second legs outwardly in an at rest configuration of the tongs wherein the first and second ends are spaced apart and to selectively allow flexing of the first and second legs inwardly in an operative configuration of the tongs wherein the first and second ends are shifted closer together.
Blade Removing Tool
A tool for preventing a lawnmower blade from rotating while the blade is attached to a lawnmower. The tool includes an elongated shaft having a first end and an opposing second end. A first and second hook extend from the first end of the shaft, wherein the first hook is disposed in a first direction and the second hook is disposed in a second direction. The first direction opposes the second direction and the first hook is offset from the second hook, such that there is a space between the first and second hook. The space between the hooks allows for a lawnmower blade to be received therebetween. The second end of the elongated shaft can be grasped by a user in order to manipulate the placement of the hooks relative to the lawnmower blade.
