Adjustable and flexible hood panel support
An apparatus for holding a hood of a vehicle open during e-coat application and painting. The apparatus includes a support incorporating first and second pairs of legs attached to spaced locations on right and left sides of an engine compartment. The two pairs of legs are connected at an upper portion of the legs. A hood support bar is connected to the upper portion of both the first and second pairs of legs and extends transversely across the engine compartment. A hood striker receiving bracket may be provided on the hood support bar. The apparatus is adjustable to position the hood striker receiving bracket in a range of vertical, transverse and longitudinal locations. The adjustability of the apparatus provides a flexible hood support that reduces thermal distortion or sag due to thermal load.

Windscreen installation apparatus and method
Apparatus for use in handling windscreens for example for installation in a vehicle, includes a windscreen anchor assembly comprising a windscreen anchor device and a support arm extending away from the windscreen anchor device. A mount assembly is provided for supporting the windscreen anchor assembly. The mount assembly includes a mount structure for engaging with the support arm such that the support arm can slide bodily in its longitudinal direction with respect to the mount structure.
SEMICONDUCTOR PROCESSING TOOL
A chuck vacuum line of a semiconductor processing tool includes a first portion that penetrates a sidewall of a main pumping line of the semiconductor processing tool. The chuck vacuum line includes a second portion that is substantially parallel to the sidewall of the main pumping line and to a direction of flow in the main pumping line. A size of the second portion increases between an inlet end of the second portion and an outlet end of the second portion along the direction of flow in the main pumping line.
Workpiece supporting device and workpiece supporting method
The purpose of the present invention is to facilitate bonding between a jig and a plate-shaped workpiece and to suitably support the workpiece. A support device is provided with: a jig that has a bent support surface for supporting a plate-shaped workpiece; a first abutment that abuts against one end of the workpiece mounted on the support surface; and a second abutment that is disposed so as to face the first abutment across the support surface and that abuts against the other end of the workpiece mounted on the support surface. The first and second abutments move toward each other and apply a load, in the tangential direction load of the support surface, with respect to the workpiece mounted on the support surface.

This application relates to the field of reveal architectural panels and a tool or clamp for assembly thereof. The apparatus and method replace prior art assembly methods and fasteners with adhesives and a dedicated particularly designed clamp to facilitate assembly. The frame members are modified to facilitate assembly with adhesive sealants and removal of mechanical fasteners.

Suction device
A suction device that holds a member by suction in a stable manner is provided. The suction device includes a columnar main body, a flat end face formed on the main body, a concave part formed in the end face, a fluid flow-forming supply paths for forming a fluid swirl flow in the concave part by discharging fluid into the concave part, the fluid swirl flow generating negative pressure that applies suction to a member, and a linear guide groove formed on the end surface along a direction in which the fluid discharged into the concave part flows out of the concave part.
Magnetic clamping apparatus
A magnetic clamping apparatus includes a magnetic base, a handle, a grip, and a central axis. The magnetic base includes a magnet body and a mounting body. The handle and the magnetic base are concentrically positioned around the central axis. The mounting body is concentrically connected onto the magnet body thus allowing the magnet body to attach ferrous metals. The handle is terminally connected to the mounting body, and the grip is connected around the handle so that the user can easily grasp and control the magnetic clamping apparatus.
Auto-Release Vacuum Device
A vacuum device for a material handling system includes a vacuum device body and a sealing element. The vacuum device body has a vacuum passageway in which H vacuum is generated in response to activation of a pressurized air supply that forces pressurized air through a venturi device. The sealing element moves to a sealing position to substantially seal the vacuum passageway when the air supply is activated, and is urged toward the sealing position via pressurized air that is diverted from an inlet of the vacuum device to the sealing element. The sealing element moves to substantially vent the vacuum passageway when the air supply is deactivated. The vacuum passageway may be in fluid communication with a vacuum cup, which seals against the object when the sealing element is at the sealing position and the vacuum generating device generates at least a partial vacuum in the vacuum passageway.
