TECHNIQUES FOR DETERMINING ABSOLUTE COLOR VALUES FOR MULTIMEDIA CONTENT ELEMENTS
A system and method for determining at least one absolute color value for a target area. The method includes configuring a light source to emit light toward the target area, wherein the target area includes at least one crop; causing a capturing device to capture at least one artificial illumination multimedia content element showing the at least one crop in the target area while the light source emits the light; receiving, from the capturing device, the captured at least one artificial illumination multimedia content element; analyzing, via machine vision, the captured at least one artificial illumination multimedia content element; and determining, based on the analysis, at least one absolute color value of the at least one crop, wherein the at least one absolute color value is utilized to calibrate a plant monitoring system.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR DETERMINING TURF PERFORMANCE INDICATORS
System and method for quantifying qualitative turf conditions as they relate to turf performance and health. In an embodiment, data is collected about turf condition using a turf analysis device. The data collected aboute the conditions may be used to generate condition-based turf stress indexes that may be used to genasrte an overall a Turf Performance Indicator (TPI). Such collections are calculated through a unique quantitative mathematical equation resulting in a measurable quotient that is used to assess overall turf performance qualities on a relative scale over time. Using an integrated Global Positioning System (GPS), the TPI measurements can be used to identify overall property conditions and zone specific conditions within that property. Such analysis is viewed with visual analysis methods using a cloud based system.
Stimulating device for enhancing release of negative air ions by a plant, and plant-based negative air ion producing device
A stimulating device for enhancing release of negative air ions by a plant includes a plant pot to receive a culture medium for cultivating the plant, and a negative voltage pulse module that outputs a negative voltage pulse to stimulate the plant via a pair of first and second conductive terminals. The first conductive terminal contacts the culture medium. The second conductive terminal is non-contact with the culture medium when the culture medium is placed in the plant pot.
Lighting device, assembly and method for growing horticulture indoors
A lighting device and assembly which incorporating an independently powered array of at least two types of LED lights that each give off specific wavelengths of light for growing plants. The assembly includes at least two of the lighting devices in conjunction with at least one high intensity bulb commonly used for indoor horticulture, where the assembly is adjustable for dimensional changes in the subject plants as they grow. A timing method for applying specific durations of each type of light which effectively simulate sunrise, daylight and sunset by allowing the plant to awaken naturally, absorb more light during the day and prepare for sleep at night, giving the plant more rest—all leading to more healthy plant growth.
Transplanting Device and Transplanting Method
Provided is a transplanting device for performing transplanting between a plurality of culture medium boards cultivating a plurality of plants planted in an aligned manner. The transplanting device includes a transplanting mechanism for transplanting the plants, where the transplanting mechanism performs alternately a step of arranging plants having been arranged in a grid form on a culture medium board of a transplanting source, into a zigzag form on a culture medium board of a transplanting destination, and a step of arranging plants having been arranged in a zigzag form on a culture medium board of a transplanting source, into a grid form on a culture medium board of a transplanting destination.
Composition Comprising Arthropod Eggs
The present invention concerns a sprayable aqueous composition intended for feeding biological control agents comprising eggs from at least one arthropod species and one or more thickeners and/or gelling agents, and a method for preparing such a composition, the use of same as a nutrient source for biological control agents and for improving the effectiveness of biological control methods, and biological control methods.
PLANT GROWTH-PROMOTING AGENT AND PLANT GROWTH-PROMOTING METHOD
A novel plant growth-promoting agent and a plant growth-promoting method using the same are provided. The plant growth-promoting agent contains a lactic acid bacterium having a plant growth-promoting action. Also, in the plant growth-promoting method, a seed, a plant body and/or a soil is treated with a lactic acid bacterium having a plant growth-promoting action. Lactobacillus plantarum strain FERM BP-21501 is suitable as the lactic acid bacterium having a plant growth-promoting action.
Apparatus and related methods for trimming dried cannabis flowers
In a preferred embodiment, the apparatus comprises: (1) a box with specifically designed blades for cutting; (2) a motor for rotating the blades over each other; (3) a sweeper mechanism to gently move the flowers around the enclosure blade; and, (4) a brush mechanism to gently tumble flowers over the blade surface.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR PROVIDING SOIL ANALYSIS
The present disclosure describes a system, method, and non-transitory computer readable medium for analyzing soil samples. Accordingly, soil sample units may be obtained and provided to a server that generates raw data. The raw data is subsequently organized into a sub-report for each nutrient or variable contained in the raw data. An average for each nutrient in the raw data and a number of additional factors related to the raw data may be calculated. The average and additional factors are used to determine bulk recommendations by comparing target data to an exchangeable measured value. Additionally, the factors are also used to determine challenges and solutions by comparing the average data to the target data for each nutrient. The system compares the raw data to the measured values an mathematically adjusts the compared values to compute an optimal treatment algorithm.
METHOD FOR CULTIVATING PLANTS OF ASTERACEAE FAMILY
The present invention provides a method for cultivating plants of the Asteraceae family, which promotes flower bud formation in the reproductive phase. The present invention relates to a method for cultivating plants of the Asteraceae family, wherein the cultivation temperature in the reproductive phase is set lower by at least 5° C. than the cultivation temperature in the vegetative phase to promote flower bud formation in the reproductive phase.
