ADJUSTABLE TOOL
Adjustable-size jaw sub-assemblies, jaw assemblies made from such sub-assemblies, and tools, particularly hand tools, made using such jaw assemblies. A plurality of jaws are connected to a base ring by pivot pins. Cam follower recess can be defined at positions of the inner perimeter of the base ring, and between opposing faces of the base ring. In the jaw assemblies, an actuator, such as a cover plate, covers at least a portion of one of opposing faces of the base ring, and one or more bridges connect the jaws to the actuator. Movement of the base ring relative to the actuator causes the jaws to pivot about the pivot pin axes, with the jaws moving in concert with each other thereby to reduce or expand the size of a work opening defined by the jaws.
Adjustable wrench
A wrench, connectable to a standard square shaped extension, has a wrench head with opposed jaw faces which together define a plane that lies perpendicular to the respective jaw faces. A standard square shaped extension socket is affixed to the wrench head, where a standard square shaped extension can be inserted into the standard extension socket, along a direction that is non-orthogonal to the transverse plane. The standard extension socket can be attached to a frame of the wrench head, or to a rotatable guide which controls movement the opposed jaw face which is movable.
Fluid container diffuser system and related method of use
A tool adapted for use with a diffuser cartridge and a fluid container, wherein the tool is adapted to facilitate insertion and removal of the diffuser cartridge to and from the fluid container. The diffuser cartridge contains mineral agent beads or other materials which can enhance the quality of fluid contained within the container.
WEAR RESISTANT TOOL BIT
A tool bit for driving a fastener includes a shank including a tool coupling portion configured to be coupled to a tool, a head portion configured to engage the fastener, and a nickel coating on the head portion. The head portion is composed of powdered metal (PM) steel having carbide particles distributed uniformly throughout the head portion.
Electrically isolated adapter
An electrically isolated adapter may include a drive body made of first metallic material extending along a common axis, a driven body made of a second metallic material extending along the common axis, and an isolation assembly formed of insulating material disposed between the drive body and the driven body. The drive body may include a drive head configured to interface with a socket or fastener. The insulating material has a resistance to electrical current that is higher than the resistance to electrical current of at least one of the first metallic material and the second metallic material. The driven body may include a drive receiver configured to interface with a protrusion of a driving tool. A portion of one of the drive body or the driven body is received inside a portion of the other of the drive body or the driven body such that the drive body and driven body overlap each other along the common axis.
ONE-PIECE TOOL LATCH STRUCTURE
A one-piece tool latch structure for positioning and setting a sleeve, which includes a socket post, wherein one end of the socket post in the axial direction is an insertion end, and the other end is a stud end. Two first faces, two second faces, two third faces, and two fourth faces are formed between the insertion end and the stud end. Each of the first faces is protruded with a positioning convex portion, and two convex ridges are respectively formed between the adjacent first face and the second face.
Setting method for electronic torque tool
A setting method for an electronic torque tool is disclosed. The electronic torque tool includes a tool body that stores at least one operation set. The operation set includes at least one adjustable operation parameter of the electronic torque tool. The setting method can be used to adjust the operation parameter in the operation set and includes a setting step and a storing step. The setting step includes entering the operation set and adjusting the operation parameter therein. The storing step includes storing the adjusted operation parameter in the operation set directly after an operator quits the operation set or turns off the electronic torque tool during the setting step. The setting method allows the operation parameter in the operation set to be easily and rapidly set or adjusted, thereby making the electronic torque tool easy to use and operate.
POWER TOOL
A power tool includes a chuck device for clamping a working component. The chuck device includes a locking mechanism, an operation member, a connection shaft, a driving assembly, and a stopper member. The locking mechanism implements a locking function. The operation member is operable to allow the locking mechanism to leave a locking position and is detachably connected to the connection shaft. The driving assembly drives the locking mechanism to be in the locking position. The stopper member is configured to limit the driving assembly.
AUTOFEED SCREWDRIVER ATTACHMENT WITH CLAMP-ON CONNECTOR
A clamping connector for an autofeed attachment for a screwdriver tool. The connector has a cam action lever that actuates a clamp. The lever moves between an open position and a closed position. In the closed position, the clamp slightly deforms to hold the autofeed attachment onto an extension pole and/or the front end of a screwdriver tool (or electric drill). The connector, while either in its ‘clamped’ or ‘open’ state, includes an open central region that allows a rotatable shaft or drive bit to pass therethrough, unimpeded. The connector includes a washer with a flat portion that prevents improper axial rotation of the lever as the lever is actuated, or at any stable position. The flat extension helps guide the lever into pivoting along a longitudinal axis of the attachment. An adjustable bolt adjusts the clamping force, and secures the lever, washer, and clamp together on the autofeed attachment.
TWO-WAY NUT SPANNER
A two-way nut spanner has a handle and an engaging head having a base, a first engaging portion and a second engaging portion. The base has a first abutting surface and a second abutting surface respectively located on two opposite sides of the base. The first engaging portion protrudes from the first abutting surface of the base and has multiple first engaging blocks. Each of the engaging blocks has a first inclined surface. The second engaging portion protrudes from the second abutting surface of the base and has a second engaging block having a second inclined surface. The engaging head has the first engaging portion and the second engaging portion with different engaging structures to enhance convenience for using the two-way nut spanner.
