Peep-hole socket driving shank assembly
A driving shank assembly includes a tube, a drive head, a connector, and two quick release nuts. The tube has two enlarged portions each having a mounting recess and an external thread. Each of the enlarged portions has a plurality of slits and a plurality of elastic clamping pieces between the slits. The drive head has a driving recess and a mounting shaft. The mounting shaft of the drive head is inserted into the mounting recess of the tube. The connector has a mounting shaft and a connecting shank. The mounting shaft of the connector is inserted into the mounting recess of the tube. The connecting shank of the connector has a retaining groove for mounting an actuating tool. Each of the quick release nuts has an internal thread screwed onto the external thread of the tube.
Torque Wrench
A torque wrench includes a driving device having a connecting rod pivotably connected to a body. The connecting rod is pivotably connected to a head of the driving device and is pivotable between first and second positions. The torque wrench has first and second lever arms corresponding to the first and second positions, respectively. A torque device is mounted to the body and presses against an abutting end of the connecting rod. An adjusting device is movably mounted to the body and is operatively connected to the torque device for setting an initial torque value. A measuring unit measures the initial torque value. An operating unit multiplies the initial torque value by a first or second correction coefficient corresponding to the first or second lever arm to obtain a corrected torque value. A display unit displays the corrected torque value.
Ratchet Wrench System and Kit
A ratchet wrench system and kit enable users thereof to enhance grip and mechanical advantage in applying torque to either (a) rotate rotary fasteners or (b) prevent rotary fastener rotation. The ratchet wrench system and kit include at least one ratchet wrench assembly and at least one ratchet interface. The ratchet wrench assembly has a ratchet head and a lever arm. The ratchet head has a male side and a female side. The female side includes both deep and shallow sections. Long and short ratchet interface elements both include a male interface end and a female interface end. The male and female interface ends are respectively matable with the female and male sides of the ratchet wrench assembly. The long and short ratchet interfaces are interchangeably matable with the ratchet wrench assembly for enabling a secondary wrench to grip and enhance mechanical advantage via the ratchet wrench assembly.
QUICK-RELEASE DEVICE FOR SCREWDRIVER BITS
A quick-release device for screwdriver bit includes a shank having a polygonal hole longitudinally defined in one end thereof and adapted for partially receiving a bit. At least one slot is longitudinally defined in the shank. An annular groove is defined in an inner periphery of the polygonal hole and communicates with the at least one slot, wherein the annular groove is formed with a tapered section toward the first end of the shank. An expandable limit element is received in the annular groove. A sleeve is movably sleeved on the shank. The sleeve has at least one protrusion inwardly extending therefrom and engaged into the at least one slot and abutting against the limit element when removing the bit form the polygonal hole. A stopper is secured on one end of the shank for preventing the sleeve from removing from the shank.
TOOL CONNECTOR ASSEMBLY
A hand tool has a tool shaft, an inner sliding sleeve, an engagement module, and an outer sliding sleeve. The inner sliding sleeve is mounted around the tool shaft, is selectively engaged with the tool shaft, and has a connection hole and two slits. The connection hole is rectangular in section to define two long sides each having a middle and two short sides. The two slits are defined respectively and longitudinally in the middles of the long sides of the connection hole. The engagement module has a spring mounted around the inner sliding sleeve. The outer sliding sleeve is mounted around the inner sliding sleeve, abuts the spring, and is selectively engaged with the inner sliding sleeve. The hand tool is applied for connecting with an inner polygonal bolt or an outer polygonal bolt.
VEHICLE COVER SCREW TOOL AND METHOD OF USE
A screw tool system for use with vehicle covers includes a vehicle screw adapter which interfaces with the receiver end of the screw and uses a standard cordless power screwdriver to drive the screw either into or out of the frame and vehicle top. A standard screwdriver handle could be used in place of the cordless power screwdriver. The cordless power screwdriver is preferred over a corded power screwdriver due to ease of use and lower power, which reduces the threat of stripping the screw.
ADJUSTABLE LENGTH HANDLE
An adjustable length handle having a first handle member, a tubular shaped second handle member and an adjusting mechanism interconnecting the two handle members to shorten or lengthen the handle length. The second handle member has an interior channel that receives the first handle member. An inner surface of the channel is in opposing relation to an outer surface of the first handle member. The adjusting mechanism comprises a longitudinally disposed length adjusting slot and one or more laterally disposed engaging slots in the inner surface that receive an engaging member which extends outward from the outer surface of the first handle member. When in the length adjusting slot, the engaging member allows linear movement of one handle member relative to the other handle member to adjust the handle length. When in one of the engaging slots, the engaging member prevents such linear movement to fix the handle length.
Replaceable magnetic screw-locking depth positoining head
A replaceable magnetic screw-locking depth positioning head includes a main body formed by a rod, a positioning sleeve, a buckling ring, a cushioning member and a magnetic member. The positioning sleeve has a stepped slot, so that the buckling ring can be installed into the stepped slot more conveniently, and the stepped slot contains a cushioning member and a magnetic member. The cushioning member provides a buffering/shock absorbing effect and a better manufacture precision of the main body, and the magnetic member provides a better positioning effect for locking the screw, and a first slot is formed at a free end of the stepped slot for accommodating debris. The positioning head of the present invention has the advantages of high manufacturing efficiency, production efficiency and manufacturing precision.
Nosepiece and magazine for power screwdriver
A magazine is configured to be removably coupled to a power tool housing of a power tool. The magazine has a housing configured to be rotatably attachable to the power tool housing. An advancing mechanism is received in the magazine housing, and is configured to advance a strip of collated fasteners into position to be driven by the power tool. An indexing ring has a plurality of recesses and is configured to be non-rotatably attached to the power tool housing. A detent is biased to removably engage one of the plurality of recesses, and is configured to be non-rotatably attached to the magazine housing. The detent removably engages the recesses to allow for indexed tool-free rotation of the magazine housing relative to the power tool housing.
Fastener device with cam assembly
A fastener device is disclosed. The fastener device includes a hub defining a bore, an attachment shank including a proximal stop and distal bit received within the bore, a retainer releasably engagable with a proximal end of the hub and a defining a passageway for a proximal mounting end of the attachment shank, a biasing element engaged with the proximal stop, and a split cam assembly disposed within a distal end of the bore. The split cam assembly is biased toward a closed configuration for engaging and retaining the head of a fastener, and is piovtable upon distal advancement of the attachment shank and distal bit, against the head, to release the head from engagement with the split cam assembly.
