SPRING DECOMPRESSION DEVICE AND RELATED SYSTEMS AND METHODS
A clamping device including an elongate backbone, a first clamp end slidably engaged with the elongate backbone, a second clamp end slidably engaged with the elongate backbone, and a handle operatively engaged with the first clamp end, wherein upon actuation of the handle the first clamp end is urged toward the second clamp end decreasing the distance between the first clamp end and the second clamp end. The clamping device configured to operate with automotive suspension springs, spring slider, and shocks such that upon use of the clamping device spring pressure is unloaded from a vehicle, spring slider, and/or shock and is transferred to the clamping device such that suspension adjustments and/or spring replacement can be effectuated quickly and safely.
Bearing removal tool
The present invention relates to a tool for expediting the separation of different components of a wheel hub. The tool includes a base and a top that is rotatably connected to the base. The tool may also include a bearing that is connected to the base and to the top, where the bearing enables the rotation of the top relative to the base. A portion of a wheel hub may be located relative to the top, after which the wheel hub and top can be rotated. While this occurs, a heat source can be applied to a portion of the wheel hub to enable even heating. As a result of this heating and related expansion, a first wheel hub piece may be separated from a second wheel hub piece.
DIPSTICK ADAPTER LEAK REPAIR METHOD AND KIT
A leaking oil dipstick adapter is repaired by removing a flanged nut from a threaded extension of the dipstick adapter. A gasket and preferably also gasket seal forming material are applied surrounding the threaded extension of the dipstick adapter and adjacent to an exterior side of the wall of the oil pan. A washer is applied adjacent to this gasket. A nut is threaded onto the threaded extension of the dipstick adapter and applies a compression force on the washer, compressing the gasket against the exterior surface of the wall of the oil pan. A tool is preferably used to retain the dipstick adapter and keep it from falling into an interior of the oil pan during the repair.
TWO-PIECE BLIND FASTENER AND INSTALLATION TOOL
A blind fastener for connecting workpieces includes a bolt and nut. The bolt includes a shaft, bolt head, and lug. The bolt head is between the shaft and lug and extends radially outward from the shaft. The shaft defines external threads opposite the bolt head. The lug includes a first tool engagement portion and a first frangible portion that frangibly couples the lug to the bolt head. The nut includes a sleeve, nut head, and handling member. The shaft is threadably received in the sleeve. The nut head extends radially outward from the sleeve and defines a recess that receives the bolt head. The handling member surrounds at least a portion of the lug. The handling member includes a second frangible portion and a second tool engagement portion. The second frangible portion frangibly couples the second tool engagement portion to the nut head.
JOINING TOOL FOR JOINING A DEFORMABLE ELEMENT TO A WORKPIECE
A power tool for joining a deformable element having a threaded shaft to a workpiece. The joining tool comprising a threaded dowel adapted to receive the threaded shaft and rotatably within the housing. A nose is arranged around the threaded dowel, and the dowel is slidably movable relative to the nose. A motor drives a drive train to rotate the threaded dowel. A hydraulic system drives another drive train to move the threaded shaft and compress the deformable element. The joining tool includes a sliding unit. The nose is attachable to the sliding unit, and in an attached position the nose is slidably connected to the housing so that the hydraulic system may move the nose axially to compress the deformable element.
Connector demate tools
A tool for demating multi-pin connectors includes a first fork including an inner fork member and an outer fork member operatively connected for relative movement parallel to a longitudinal fork axis. A second fork is spaced apart from the first fork wherein the second fork includes an inner fork member and an outer fork member operatively connected for relative movement parallel to the longitudinal fork axis. A handle connects the first fork to the second fork. The handle includes an outer handle member fixedly connecting the outer fork members of the first and second forks, and the handle includes an inner handle member fixedly connecting the inner fork members of the first and second forks. Relative movement of the inner and outer handle members causes relative movement of the inner and outer fork members of the first and second forks for demating multi-pin electrical connectors from sockets.

STORAGE COMPONENT DISASSEMBLY TOOLING
Discloses herein is a storage component disassembly tooling, for disassembling a storage component on a process cartridge, the process cartridge comprising a housing and a storage component mounting bracket on the housing for supporting the storage component, the storage component disassembly tooling comprising: a drilling portion, and a positioning portion; wherein the positioning portion is configured to position the storage component disassembly tooling on the housing of the process cartridge, and the drilling portion is configured to move relative to the positioning portion to destroy at least a part of the storage component mounting bracket.
Tool for inserting and removing temporary fasteners
A tool for insertion and extraction of temporary fasteners that enables by a plurality of retractable elements, an automatic engagement of the tool on the head of the temporary fastener, without the need for any rotation of the tool with regard to the head, and by lockable grasping units, operated internally locking elements, a high retention and extraction force is achieved, favouring the elimination of the risk of the clamp detaching itself from the tool, enabling control of the entire insertion and extraction process of temporary fasteners. Rapid, effective automation of the use and procedure of the temporary fasteners can be achieved, improving economic profitability and the reliability of their use.
Apparatus and method for installing grommets in a vehicle
The disclosed subject matter includes an installation tool for sequentially mounting each of a plurality of grommets in an opening of a vehicle panel and related methods. The installation tool can include a receptacle including a case defining a storage space configured to accommodate the plurality of grommets. The receptacle can include an opening in communication with the storage space, the opening configured to hold a respective one of the grommets in an installation position in which a first portion of one of the grommets protrudes through the opening and a second portion of the respective one of the grommets is located in the storage space. A biasing structure can be movably mounted in the case and configured to bias each of the grommets in the storage space toward the installation position.
