Assembly tool for changing bushings for lower arm

An assembly tool for changing bushings for a lower arm includes a bushing connecting part into which a bushing is inserted and a main shaft inserted into components. A main adapter assembling unit supports or presses the bushing and a detachment adapter receives the bushing when detaching the bushing. A mounting adapter supports a first end of the bushing when mounting the bushing and a mounting guide ring guides an insertion depth of the bushing when mounting the bushing so that components used to change the bushings may be assembled in accordance with a shape of a lower arm on which the bushing is to be mounted.

Disclosed is an extraction tool including a top plate having a top plate force rod hole and a plurality of top plate push rod holes. The extraction tool includes a bottom plate having a bottom plate force rod hole, a plurality of bottom plate push rod holes, and a plurality of bottom plate bolt holes. The tool includes a force rod configured to slidably engage the top plate force rod hole and threadingly engage the bottom plate force rod hole. The tool includes a plurality of push rods, each push rod configured to threadingly engage a top plate push rod hole and slidably engage a bottom plate bolt hole. The bottom plate is attached to the hub bearing assembly and rotating the force rod will advance the bottom plate and the hub bearing assembly towards the top plate, thereby extracting the hub bearing from a knuckle.

COMBUSTION ASSISTED SLEDGE TOOL
20220355449 · 2022-11-10 ·

Systems and methods for propelling a sledge head relative to a sledge body mounted to a handle are described. In an aspect, the sledge head is propelled from a sledge body through action of one or more pistons that are driven through combustion or ignition of charges secured within the sledge body. The charges can be activated based on contact between the sledge head and a working surface to engage one or more charges against a firing pin resulting in combustion or ignition of the charges. The tool can include one or more springs to bias the sledge head toward a retracted position, where activation of the one or more charges overcomes the spring bias to propel the sledge head against the working surface upon contact.

DETACHER FOR CHAIN QUICK LINK
20230099891 · 2023-03-30 ·

The invention relates to a detacher for chain quick link comprising: a main body with a first end and a second end, the main body has a fixed jaw; a driving member with a screw portion screwed into a screw hole provided at the first end of the main body, when the driving member is rotated, the driving member is capable of displacing toward the second end of the main body; and a sliding member displaceably installed in the main body, a movable jaw of the sliding member corresponds to the fixed jaw; when the driving member displaces toward the second end of the main body, the sliding member is driven to displace toward the second end of the main body together, so that the movable jaw moves toward the fixed jaw for disassembling a quick-linked chain.

Disposable sheath for oil filter removal and containment
11492195 · 2022-11-08 ·

A disposable oil filter containment sheath is provided for use during oil changes for combustion engines. The sheath has a closed bottom, a cylindrical sidewall, and an open top. The resilient sheath is rolled to an initial collapsed position for placement on the bottom of an oil filter mounted on the engine, and it is partially unrolled along the filter. The filter can then be loosened to allow oil to drain into the sheath for capturing a reservoir. After the filter is removed from the engine, the sheath is completely unrolled and tied at the top so as to fully enclose and contain the oil filter and oil. The sheath and its contents are then ready for disposal.

A method for manufacturing an operation rod of a wrench assembly for disassembling a fan clutch, including following steps of: preparing a rod material; fixing the rod material on a forging mold; carrying out a forging process to produce a semi-finished head; carrying out a cutout process, cutting the remainder structure out of the semi-finished head; obtaining a finished product of a head portion, the head portion including two wing plates and a shaft which are integrally formed.

Wedge driver and method therefor

A wedge driver and method therefor is presented. A wedge driver can be operably coupled to different ends of a link joiner to drive a wedge therebetween to form a single link. The wedge driver can also drive the wedge out of the link joiner. The present disclosure provides the benefit of allowing the safe and effective removal of the link joiner by preventing violent or forceful decoupling of a link joiner. The wedge driver can include a trunk, a first prong, a second prong, a bolt, and a driver. The driver can be spring enabled, such that the driver can recede into the trunk as the bolt egresses the trunk. A bolt of the wedge driver can push a driver out of the trunk to axially drive the wedge into (or out of) a link joiner without rotating the wedge.
