A staking tool is provided that is coupled to an axle of a vehicle and that includes a collar and a striker. The collar includes a guide notch defined on an interior surface. The striker includes a shaft and a handle. The shaft includes an angled tip at a first end of the striker and the handle includes a striking surface at a second end of the striker. The shaft is configured to slide longitudinally within the guide notch. A method for staking a spindle nut is also provided that includes positioning a collar over the spindle nut fastened on an axle of a vehicle, aligning a guide notch on the collar with a staking notch on the axle, inserting a striker into the guide notch, and striking the striker with a hammer.

Palmar grip

A body of the palmar grip contacts a surface of the handle and is wrapped around a portion of the handle to circumscribe it. A wing is attached over two free ends of the body to close the body between those free ends and fasten the body around the handle. The wing provides a palm rest for a user when gripping the handle.

Hammer tacker

A hammer tacker includes an outer housing comprising a handle portion and a head portion, the outer housing formed from a fiber reinforced polymer material. The hammer tacker also includes an elongated staple holder carried at least partially within the outer housing, the elongated staple holder being slideable between a use position and a refill position. The outer housing having the fiber reinforced polymer material defines a channel extending through the handle portion and into the head portion, the channel configured to receive the staple holder. The staple holder is slidable along the channel of the outer housing between the use position and the refill position. The hammer tacker further includes a staple driver assembly operable to drive a staple from the staple holder into a workpiece.

Since provided inside the grip portion is a storage portion continuous with an opening section formed at the curved portion side, and an escape hammer is stored in the storage portion, the hammer can be stored in the handle in a compact manner. Since there are provided a biasing member biasing the hammer toward the opening section side; a regulation portion for regulating the hammer; and a push button for releasing the restriction by the regulation portion, the hammer can be easily installed in and removed from the handle.
