Fishing lures with interchangeable scents and methods for embedding scents in fishing lures
The present disclosure is directed to fishing lures with interchangeable scents and methods of embedding scents in fishing lures. In an embodiment, a fishing lure configured to be customized with different scents includes a body, and a plurality of attachments configured to be attached to and detached from the body, wherein a first attachment of the plurality of attachments includes a first scent, and a second attachment of the plurality of attachments includes a second scent, and wherein the first attachment and the second attachment can be interchangeably attached to and detached from the body at a same location of the body.
Easy-tie fishing hook
A fishing hook has a shank portion with a hook at one end, and a hairpin loop portion formed on an opposite end of the shank portion. The hairpin loop portion extending downwardly from the opposite end of the shank portion. The hairpin loop portion has a width or diameter that is less than a width or diameter of the shank portion. The hairpin loop portion has an end extending at an angle away from the shank. The hairpin loop portion has a longitudinal axis coplanar with a longitudinal axis of the shank portion. The shank portion and the hairpin loop portion define a line-receiving slot.

APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR EMBEDDING A SCENT IN A FISHING LURE
A device for adding a scent to a fishing lure, the device including: at least one electrode; and (i) a conductive element configured to place the fishing lure in conductive communication with the at least one electrode; and a control unit configured to activate the at least one electrode to cause the at least one electrode to impart a charge on the fishing lure via the conductive element, or (ii) a source of scented liquid; a heating mechanism; and a control unit configured to (a) activate the at least one electrode to cause the at least one electrode to impart a charge on the fishing lure, and (b) create steam from the scented liquid, wherein ions from the steam are attracted to the fishing lure when the charge is imparted on the fishing lure by the at least one electrode.
Oscillating standup jig
This novel invention for a bladed jig creates a unique swimming motion for attached baits when retrieved and stands up when at rest on the bottom underneath water. The bladed jig when retrieve at a rate to maintain the jig near the water's surface or partially above the surface creates a swimming bait motion and wake on the water's surface. Additionally, the bladed jig has an oscillating motion when jigged upwards and when released to descend toward the bottom underneath water to attract fish.

Hook alignment device
Methods for aligning a fishing hook to a fishing lure are disclosed herein. The fishing hook may be attached to the fishing lure either directly or with the use of a connector components. The fishing hook may be aligned such that the longitudinal axis of the hook is inline with or parallel to the longitudinal axis of the fishing lure. The alignment may be secured via an encasing method, where the lure, connector components, and hook are secured by wrapping the connection mechanisms to limit movement of the hook relative to the lure. In other embodiments, the alignment may be secured via a woven method, where the connection mechanisms are secured by interweaving a rigid but pliable member through each connection mechanism component.

Fishing lure with a scent disbursement apparatus
A fishing lure made of soft yarn ball that had a hole through the center. The fibrous ball increases the holding power of scent oil. The ability to hold more scent oil means that it takes longer for the scent oil to work out of the ball and thus leaves a longer lasting and larger scent trail for game fish to hone in on. The scent ball is easily adaptable to any type of artificial lure rigging a fisherman chose to use. The soft yarn balls are made from materials used in fly tying. These fibrous products come in highly visible colors. Some even have UV responding dyes that fish respond to. As noted above, the center hole is a carbon fiber micro tube. It is this use of the micro tube that allows the yarn to be tied sufficiently tight to allow for extending holding of the scent oils.
