Fishhook
An object of the invention is to provide a fishhook for fishing or the like, the fishhook being easily stuck to a fish or the like and being also excellent in durability. The surface of a fishhook is treated with a compound selected from the group consisting of a metallic surfactant having at least one or more hydroxyl groups or hydrolyzable groups, a fluorine-based surface treating agent, a thiol compound and a disulfide compound.

FISHING LURE ORNAMENTATION
A functional ornamentation manufactured from a stamped metal plate which is twisted by a specified number of degrees to result in a shape that allows for unique reactions to flowing fluids such as air and water. Due to the shape and twist of the device, the device will spin along with the flowing fluid or when pulled through that fluid, such that it retains a straight trajectory. In a preferred embodiment, such as part of a fishing lure, the ornamentation is connected to a ball bearing swivel which allows for near frictionless rotation. The lure when drawn through the water travels in a straight path, rather than an arced path of the prior art. This results in a more natural travel path producing greater flash and rotation for attacking fish.
ELECTRIC SNATCH HOOK SYSTEM
An electric snatch hook system includes a hook having a plurality of hook segments each having a curved shape, a sharpened tip, and a plurality of electrodes. A control panel having a system controller, a user interface, a power source, and a power output unit is connected to the hook via an elongated tether and a control wire. The power source includes a plurality of batteries that provide power to the device components. The power output unit amplifies and sends power to the plurality of electrodes based on a command from the user interface. The power output is calculated to stun and immobilize a alligator for between about 1 and 3 minutes, to allow a user time to haul the alligator onto a boat or shoreline via the tether.

Fishing-hook-retention system and method
A method for forming a system for securing items such as fishing hooks is disclosed. The method may include molding an elastomeric material to include a slit therein. Once formed, the elastomeric material may be compressed across the slit in order to reduce the width of the slit. While held in a compressed state, an item such as a fishing hook may be inserted into the slit. The compression may enable the slit to securely grip the item.

Shielded point motion tackle
A shielded point motion fishing tackle having a twin set of springless, retractable fishing hooks shielded by the body of a live or artificial lure until activated by the force caused by the striking motion of a fish.
Method of fishing with unmanned aerial vehicle
The present disclosure discloses a method of using an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) comprising a housing, a processor, a positioning unit, a sonar unit, a launching unit and a fishhook unit in fishing. The method comprises manipulating the UAV to fly to a designated destination determined by the processor according to one of a received wireless communication and a preset program, adjusting the sonar unit to a predetermined height by the positioning unit, determining a coordinate corresponding to a signal detected by the sonar unit as a fishing region when the signal is consistent with a predetermined value, launching bait to the fishing region by the launching unit, releasing a fishhook from the fishhook unit to the fishing region, and manipulating the UAV to hover or return by the processor according to one of a received wireless communication and a preset program.
