A fishing jig and method are disclosed. The fishing jig includes a head, a body, and a tail having proximal and distal ends and a plurality of converging edges disposed on the tail. The plurality of converging edges are separated at the proximal end at the body and converge along a length of the tail to a point of convergence at the distal end. Operably placing the jig on a hook in a first configuration controls movement of the tail in a vertical axis and inhibits movement of the tail in a horizontal axis while jigging. Operably placing the jig on the hook in a second configuration controls movement of the tail in the horizontal axis and inhibits movement of the tail in the vertical axis while jigging.

A fishing lure assembly that includes a crank bait lure, a treble hook coupled to the rear loop of the crank bait lure, a spinner blade, a spinnerbait jig, and a fixture wire that couples the crank bait lure, the spinner blade, and the spinnerbait jig to define the fishing lure assembly, spaces the crank bait lure, the spinner blade, and the spinnerbait jig apart from one another, and provides a common connection point for securing the crank bait lure, the spinner blade, and the spinnerbait jig to a fishing line.

A fishing lure comprises a head; a hook connected to the head; an arm rotatably connected to the head with the lateral direction of the head as a rotation axis, the rotation axis located inside the head; and a blade connected to the arm. The rotation locus formed when the arm is rotated may be included in a plane with the lateral direction of the head as perpendicular line. The arm may be restricted from moving in the lateral direction of the head.

A lure for fishing includes a hollow body including a first body having a first bonding surface and a second body having a second bonding surface bonded to the first bonding surface, a wire having an eye to which a line or a hook is configured to be connected, and integrally incorporated into the body, and a buffer member between the body and the wire. The wire is sandwiched between the first body and the second body with the buffer member interposed therebetween such that the eye is exposed to outside of the body, and is configured to move relative to the buffer member. The buffer member is in contact with both the first body and the second body.

A lure can include a lure body. The lure body can define one or more complimentary apertures that can have a complimentary shape to at least a portion of a hook structure and can be configured to receive within and to compliment the shape of at least a portion of the hook structure.

A fishing lure having interchangeable inserts includes a lure body having a front end, a rear end, a left side, a right side, a top side, and a bottom side. At least the left side, but in some embodiments also the right side, includes an insert slot with an opening proximate the rear end. The insert slot has at least one pair of opposing flanges. An insert engages the insert slot and has a catch at a forward end thereof adapted for engaging the snap aperture of the lure body. An outer surface of the insert with a natural attractant is visible through the insert slot between the flanges. The insert is preferably one of many available inserts that all have varying outer surface characteristics, such as color, pattern, texture, attachments, and the like. A fishing lure attachment cooperative with the inserts is used with existing fishing lures.

A method of attaching an artificial wing assembly to be used with a bait fish and/or lures to resemble flying fish bait. A pair of contoured natural looking synthetic wings are attached to a bait fish or lure by a skewer impaled through a portion of the bait or lure. A bait attachment saddle extends between the wings, each wing having a guide and access sleeve for positionally guiding and placement of the attachment skewer there through.

A fish hook assembly that includes a substantially hemispherical or polyhedron head with an eye and a weed guard extending from the head. A round bead is in physical contact with at least the weed guard so that underwater obstructions that would normally get snagged on the eye and/or weed guard will roll away over the bead.

A lure for fishing according to an embodiment of the present disclosure includes a main body portion having a cavity therein, the cavity is partially or entirely visible from the outside, and one or more reflecting surfaces or reflectors capable of specularly reflecting light from the outside is provided on at least one of an outer surface of the main body portion, an inner surface of the main body portion, or the inside of the cavity.
