HOOK ALIGNMENT DEVICE
Methods for aligning a fishing hook to a fishing lure are disclosed herein. The fishing hook may be attached to the fishing lure either directly or with the use of a connector components. The fishing hook may be aligned such that the longitudinal axis of the hook is inline with or parallel to the longitudinal axis of the fishing lure. The alignment may be secured via an encasing method, where the lure, connector components, and hook are secured by wrapping the connection mechanisms to limit movement of the hook relative to the lure. In other embodiments, the alignment may be secured via a woven method, where the connection mechanisms are secured by interweaving a rigid but pliable member through each connection mechanism component.

Steerable Fishing Lure
In described embodiments, a method of redirecting a track of a fishing lure on a fishing line. The fishing lure has a body, a fishing lure longitudinal axis extending along a length of the body, a line tie extending outwardly from the body, and a re-positioning mechanism mounted entirely inside the body and connected to the line tie. The re-positioning mechanism is activated by the fishing line. The method includes the steps of using a fishing pole, casting the fishing lure into a body of water; while the fishing lure is in the water, reeling in the fishing lure; and moving the line tie between a first position and a second position such that only the movement of the line tie between the first position and the second position changes a direction of travel of the fishing lure while the lure is being reeled in.
MATERIAL APPLICATION TO FISHING LURES POSSESSING TEMPERATURE SENSITIVE CHROMATICITY VICISSITUDE CREATING A COLOR CHANGING FISHING LURE OR RUBBER BAIT
A process where materials are applied to a plastic fishing lure surface, producing a lure that possesses chromatic vicissitude as a result of water temperature fluctuations. A non-thermochromatic base layer of one or more colors is applied to the plastic fishing lure. This layer acts as the visual appearance of the fishing lure in the absence of temperature fluctuations. Clear extender is then used as an additive to the thermochromatic ink. This addition to the ink then allows the ink to be sprayed onto the surface of the lure. This ink-extender amalgam can be applied in multiple layers however the bottom layer must have the least amount of hue saturation. Each layer thereafter would increase in hue saturation. Multiple hue combinations can be utilized. Once the desired number of thermochromatic layers has been applied, an ultra-clear super high gloss lacquer finish is sprayed on to the exterior of all layers.
FISHING ACCESSORY FOR LURES
A fishing accessory for several different lures for coupling to a fishing device that can be reeled or trolled in a certain direction in order to catch fish. The fishing accessory includes a first lure, in the form of a main fish, and at least two second lures, smaller in size than the first lure and accompanied by flexible transparent elements attached to a rigid head forming part of a supporting structure of the first lure in the shape of a V, facing either towards a surface or bottom of a fishing area.
Fishing lure, hook appurtenance for fishing lure, and method of casting
A fishing lure and method of casting are disclosed. In one aspect, a lure assembly includes a fishing hook having an eyelet and a bend separated by a shank, the bend terminating at a point separated from the shank by a gape. The lure assembly further includes a hook appurtenance attached to the fishing hook and positioned past the bend generally aligned with the shank of the fishing hook. The hook appurtenance includes an ergonomic mass forming a resilient structure for gripping by a person, the ergonomic mass having a size smaller than a gape of the hook to avoid interfering with operation of the fishing hook.
LURE, ESPECIALLY FOR FISHING
The present invention relates to a lure (1), especially for fishing. An elongated body (5) includes attachment means (2) provided at a first end (51) of the body (5) for attaching the lure (1) to a fishing line or the like. a second end (52) of the body (5) is provided with a holder portion (5a) for keeping at least one hook (6a) stationary relative to the body (5). The lure (1) includes an elastic shell (4), which is provided with an installation chamber (4a) capable of accommodating the body (5) as well as the at least one hook (6a). The holder portion (5a) consists of a slot type hook saddle (5a). The shell (4) is provided with an aperture (4c) across which a tip portion of the hook (6a) is adapted to proceed from the installation chamber (4a) to a position external of the shell while the hook (6a) is stationary in the hook saddle (5a) at the same time as the shell (4) has its surface subjected to a pressure force compressing the shell (4). The hook (6a) is releasable from the hook saddle (5a) when the tip portion of the hook (6a) is located outside the shell (4).
FUNCTIONAL ORNAMENTATION, METHODS OF USE, AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURE
A functional ornamentation manufactured from a stamped metal plate which is twisted by a specified number of degrees to result in a shape that allows for unique reactions to flowing fluids such as air and water. Due to the shape and twist of the device, the device will spin along with the flowing fluid or when pulled through that fluid, such that it retains a straight trajectory. In a preferred embodiment, such as part of a fishing lure, the ornamentation is connected to a ball bearing swivel which allows for near frictionless rotation. The lure when drawn through the water travels in a straight path, rather than an arced path of the prior art. This results in a more natural travel path producing greater flash and rotation for attacking fish.

CHILD-FRIENDLY EXPANDABLE FISH HOOK ASSEMBLY
An expandable fish hook assembly includes a central shaft having one end attached to a fishing line and a plurality of arms or hook members pivotably coupled at or near the other end of the central shaft. The plurality of arms or hooks pivot between a collapsed position, with each arm or hook generally adjacent the central shaft, and a deployed position, with each arm or hook generally angled away from the central shaft. A sliding member engages the central shaft and moves along the central shaft, whereby the sliding member also operatively engages and moves along each of the plurality of arms to support and move the arms between the collapsed and deployed positions.
