The dual ratcheting tool includes an upper ratchet assembly independently rotationally and mechanically connected to a lower ratchet assembly; a drive member connected to the upper ratchet assembly and the lower ratchet assembly; an upper handle connected to the upper ratchet assembly, the upper handle having an upper directional switch to set a drive direction of the upper ratchet assembly; and a lower handle connected to the lower ratchet assembly, the lower handle having a lower directional switch to set a drive direction of the lower ratchet assembly. The upper and lower handles of the dual ratcheting tool can independently and in combination can drive a socket more quickly and efficiently than ratchets having a single ratchet assembly and handle.

A periphery of the side opening extends outward to form an engaging portion. The main rod is rotatably mounted through the engaging portion. The sleeve mount is rotatably mounted in the accommodating element. The driven gear is fixed to the sleeve mount and is located in the accommodating element. The driving gear is fixed to the rotating rod and engaged with the driven gear. The sleeve mount is driven to tighten or loosen a nut by rotating the main rod to reduce an operating space for the wrench.

A hose retention apparatus that has a handle and holding structure which has an interior area for holding a hose. One end of a connecting member is fixed to the handle and the other end is fixed to the holding structure such that the handle and the holding structure are spaced from each other. A passage extends through the connecting member and opens to the interior area of the holding structure. A push rod is arranged within the passage and extends from the passage into the interior area of the holding structure such that an outer end of the push rod is located within the interior area. The push rod is able to slide so as to clamp the hose between the outer end of the push rod and a remote side of the hose holding structure.

Electronic torque wrench

A torque wrench for use in driving fasteners is provided. The wrench includes an electronics unit disposed within a housing engaged with the body of the wrench that is capable of sensing and measuring the torque applied to a fastener by the wrench and providing an output of the level of torque to the user. The data sensed by the electronics unit can be utilized to provide feedback to the user regarding the operation of the wrench, and to monitor the overall operation of the wrench for calibration purposes, among other functions. During use, the wrench can provide the user with visual, audible and tactile feedback regarding the operation of the device relative to stored maximum torque values stored in the electronics unit. The housing for the electronics unit can be formed to be a single use component of the tool or can be designed for multiple uses with a configuration that can be engaged with cradles forming the body of the wrench having various different configurations.

Tool assembly comprising universal handle and interchangeable tool heads

A tool assembly includes an elongated handle and a locking system for attaching a tool head to the handle. The tool head can be a floor care tool or other accessory that can be attached to the handle such that the elongated length of the handle can aid in the use of the tool attached. The locking system includes a keyed locking collar for engaging at least a first portion of the tool head, and a locking cap rotatably positioned on the handle for engaging a second portion of the tool head. The handle can be extendable, such as by telescoping, and can also be overmolded.

A tool assembly includes an elongated handle and a locking system for attaching a tool head to the handle. A plier with sockets is provided. The device includes a pair of plier members pivotally connected together, each plier member having a handle portion opposite a jaw portion. A first socket is affixed to a first handle portion and includes a first socket opening having a first diameter. A second socket is affixed to a second handle portion and includes a second socket opening having a second diameter. The first and second socket openings are oriented opposite the jaw portions of the pair of plier members. In some embodiments, the first and second socket are removably securable to the first and second handle portions, such that the readily interchange the first and second sockets with sockets of other sizes.
