CONTROL PANEL MODULE ASSEMBLY DEVICES AND TECHNIQUES

Systems, apparatus, methods, and techniques of assembly of discrete modules of a control panel are disclosed. The modules can be independently wired, tested, and installed into a control panel. Module definitions are defined specifying components to perform the electrical function, a mechanical arrangement of the components, electrical connections, and logical interactions of the module. A bill of materials can be generated based on a designation of a set of modules for a control panel and the module definitions. Modularly assembled control panels are disclosed. An assembly frame is described herein for temporarily mounting components of a module for independent assembly of a control module and for eventual removal and installation into a control panel frame. The assembly frame may include a faceplate frame and side frames and temporary mounting features.

In one or more embodiments, a project support system is provided having a base, a dial, a top cover, a moveable member, and a mechanical assembly. The dial is rotatably connected to the base. The top cover has an opening. The mechanical assembly is configured to extend the movable member upward through the opening to a fully extended position in response to the dial being rotated in a first direction relative to the base, thereby providing a smaller upper surface for support of a workpiece. The mechanical assembly is further configured to retract the movable member downward back through the opening to a fully retracted position in response to the dial being rotated in a second opposite direction relative the base, thereby providing a larger upper surface for support of the workpiece.

The mounting head is reversibly attached to a drive shaft through a retaining pin extending through amounting head collar. A steering handle is detachably supported on an upper adaptor plate to allow for movement for the wheeled base.

The plurality of caster wheels support the frame for a second distance from a level of the bottom of the caster wheels. The first distance is no more than the second distance. A support head is affixed to an end of the jack screw opposite the barrel. The frame is invertible relative to the caster wheels such that in one position the barrel extends upwardly from the frame and a second position in which the barrel extends downwardly from the frame.

At least one first magnet coil constituting an electromagnet, a coil winding of the at least one first magnet coild being wound on a bobbin and a magnetic force of which is switchable between a maximum resultant holding force and a minimum resultant holding force. The coil winding of the magnet coil has two end sections that are each connected to a connecting cable that serves to make electrical contact between the magnetic coil and the electric machine tool. The body has a first side adapted to be coupled to the electric machine tool and has an opposite second side adapted to be placed on a workpiece that is to be processed. End sections of the coil winding are connected to the connecting cables.

A balancer for tools includes a rotating winding and unwinding drum for a cable, configured with a free end for supporting a tool. The balancer also includes a spring, wound around the main axis of rotation of the drum and integral with a terminal portion with the drum, in order to generate an elastic reaction, as a consequence of the unwinding of the cable and of the consequent rotation of the drum, adapted to facilitate the rewinding of the cable. The balancer further includes an element for braking the drum, which is adapted to generate a resisting moment which acts even indirectly on the drum to contrast the rewinding stroke of the cable; a respective electronic unit is furthermore associated with the element and is provided with a module for the control and adjustment of the intensity of the resisting moment generated by the element.

Power tool apparatus and a method of use of the same

The current invention provides apparatus and a method for use with a drill bit to form a hole in a workpiece, said apparatus including a clamping means to clamp a workpiece in which the hole is to be formed in position with the apparatus, a drill bit holder assembly and drive means for rotating the drill bit and moving the same into the workpiece so as to drill the hole at a required angle and depth into the workpiece. Typically the depth of the hole is set in relation to the thickness of the workpiece which is clamped in position at that time and the apparatus includes a first part which is held by a first hand of the user and movable by the user with respect to a second part which is held by a second hand of the user and the relative movement is translated into movement of the drill bit holder to move the rotating drill bit into the workpiece.
