The invention relates to a case for holding tools or small parts, having a main body, having a lid, which is articulated in a pivotable manner on the main body, and having a holder for documents and/or small parts, which is fastened on an inner side of the lid, wherein the inner side of the lid is provided with a plurality of first fastening devices, which are designed to match second fastening devices on the holder, wherein the first and second fastening devices are designed, and arranged, such that the holder can be secured in at least two different positions on the inner side of the lid.
