ADAPTIVE TOOLING SYSTEM
An example adaptive tooling system is provided that includes an adaptive base plate assembly and a tool base assembly selectively engageable with each other. The adaptive base plate assembly includes a base plate with holes formed therein, and location pins attached to the base plate via the holes. The tool base assembly includes a central support member, first and second lock plates, and a latch pivotably disposed relative to the central support member. The first and second lock plates include an opening formed therein. The opening of the lock plates is configured to at least partially receive first and second location pins of the location pins of the adaptive base plate assembly. The latch is configured to releasably engage with a third location pin of the location pins of the adaptive base plate assembly to releasably engage the tool base assembly with the adaptive base plate assembly.
Rotatable vehicle frame jig
Devices, systems, and methods for positioning a vehicle frame in a plurality of rotational positions about an axis of rotation and performing at least two assembly tasks are provided. An assembly and a system that includes forward and rear toolings that engage and retain forward and rear portions of the vehicle frame, and that cooperatively rotate the vehicle frame about an axis of rotation are provided.
BUMPER APPARATUS
A bumper apparatus for securing a vehicle bumper during painting and repair is described herein. The apparatus includes a base support structure, a frame coupled to the base support structure, at least one rear coupler arm movably coupled to the frame, at least one front coupler arm movably coupled to the frame via a front coupler attachment, and a front coupler. The front coupler attachment includes a frame portion movably coupled to the frame, a ball portion fixedly coupled to the frame portion, a socket portion configured to receive the ball portion, and an arm portion movably coupled to the . The front coupler is movably coupled to the at least one front coupler arm and is configured to be releasably coupled to the vehicle bumper.
Versatile article support device
A versatile transport rack uses a pair of end frames that are each pivotally attached to a connector frame on opposing sides thereof thereby forming an article support device. Each frame has casters removably attached thereto. One or more vertical frames and/or one or more relatively flat base plates are removably attached to an upper surface of the versatile transport rack. Hinge pin receiver pairs are attached to the vertical frame and receive door pin pairs of a vehicle door.
Truck Mountable Toolbox Assembly
A truck mountable toolbox assembly for improving access to contents of drawers of a toolbox includes a housing, which defines an interior space and which mountable to a bed of a pickup truck behind a cab of the pickup truck. A set of swinging drawers is positioned in the interior space, with each swinging drawer being aligned with an associated aperture of a plurality of apertures positioned in the front of the housing. Each swinging drawer is pivotable relative a respective opposed end of the housing and thus is selectively extensible from the front of the housing. The contents of the swinging drawer are accessible from an associated opposed side of the bed.
